Lou (liee) | 15 comments Were we supposed to combine books re-published as several volumes with the "whole" editions or not? For example "War and Peace" with "War and Peace Part 1" and "War and Peace Part 2".

I have a feeble memory of seeing a rule not to combine those but I can't find anything like that anymore.

vicki_girl | 2764 comments No, those would not be combined.

ETA: To clarify, neither part should be combined with the whole work. In addition, part 1 should not be combined with part 2.

Lou (liee) | 15 comments Ok, thanks!

That means at least Dostoyevsky has A LOT of editions like these all combined together at the moment. Anyone is welcome to go and fix them if I don't get there before you.
