PEOPLE OF VALENTINE'S THREAD---Thank you--I'm sorry I had to yell---there will be NO second guessing ourselves--sad, happy, short or shorter (notice I did not say LONG!!!) you WILL post and we WILL read!!!
ONLY 7 days left---yes we are going by UK-US time--that means Aussies & Kiwis--you have an extra day--there never say I didn't give you anything!!!!

BTW, got an advance glimpse of Alex's and it is very cool. I need to get my short version out of my head and onto paper/pixels too.

I found it stressful keeping it under 1000. I kept on staring at the total word count. I did have awesome betas though, they kept me in check. I can't wait to read everyone's.

OKAY!!!! PEOPLE OF VALENTINES!!!!ON Feb. 14th (OZ & KIWI TIME) I will open a new thread for posting of stories!! I WILL have my calculator handy-so don't even try slipping past me with more than 1000 words---(give or take 50--but that is IT!!!!!)
Our very own talented Myka has created some lovely ribbons for each story which I will post after the story is online!! YES--PRIZES!!! (erm, well, uhm sorta...)

I'm thinking I should write a new story because the one I originally wrote is at 2865 and I want to expand on it a little ^^

Probably won't have my story done, given that I haven't even started writing it yet. Packing up for my move, plus some other real-life stuff, has kind of sucked out my will to write for now. But I'm looking forward to seeing everyone else's stories.

If you find yourself inspired please feel free to post your story. Hope life settles down for a bit. Taking some time to rest is always a good thing. So come rest with us for a while. OK, so I wrote another story last night, and it came in at 1500 words. Aargh. But I am determined. (Can't resist a challenge) So I wrote a third one this morning and I'm not going to tell you the word count but it's close enough. And as penance, Sammy dear, I may make you beta read all three of them. (And no running the word count on the last one, you hear me???)

For the first 3 days of what will now be called "3 days of valentine goodness" we will post only stories with word counts in the neighborhood of 1000 words. THEN, (drum roll, please) we will open the thread to ANY length story!
