Okay folks this is a general announcement!
Tomorrow I will set up a thread for posting completed stories. While you are welcome and encouraged to comment on a story on that thread please save chatting for this thread. That way we can easily find the stories snd they are not overshadowed by our lovely and crazy chatter. The new thread will carry this same request. Do spread the word and get ready to read.

MorningThere were a couple of reasons I thought it would be nice to post on the 14th rather than from the 1st...
I don't want it this challenge to interfere with the February picture stories (which usually go up pretty early in the month) and so that it gave people without someone to share valentines day with something to distract them :o)

Seriously, whilst the idea is to see if you can write the story in 1000 words all you get for doing so is extra kudos and an internet round of applause... even if your story is longer I can pretty much guarantee that we'll all want to read them anyway!!

Oh, crud...there is only a week left, huh? I've been so caught up with the two novels I'm working on to torture Ralph with--er, submit to Featherweight, that I keep forgetting to write this story.
Yeah, that 1000 word mark is going to be an issue too lol
