Laura (laurastamps) I am always looking for anthologies in this genre. "Many Bloody Returns" is good, as well as "On the Prowl." I hear about anthologies that sound good all the time, but then discover they are more paranormal romance than dark urban fantasy. I am not a romance, YA, trad fantasy, or horror fan, so I would love to know if you have read any dark urban fantasy anthologies lately that you liked? I read them to find new authors with series I haven't read yet. Thanks!

A (demimonde77) | 4 comments I just reread Jacqueline Carey's first three Kushiel books. Um... I think they qualify as dark, especially the third one.

I've never read Martin's "Quartet." I'll have to check it out! Thanks!

Alan Baxter | 7 comments Do you mean collections of short stories? Usually anthology refers to a book of collected shorts by various authors. I'd be keen to know about some good dark fantasy ones too.
