Tiny ♥Hearts (tinyhearts) Oh crapazoid! I'm falling behind with this, I better catch up. I got a bunch of books from the library to keep me occupied, so I'll be sure to get into them ASAP

I loved this book and recently found the sequel. I have to read it soon... And Adam was the perfect boyfriend but it's not a smooth ride in the sequel according to the blurb on the inside.

I just got the sequel from the library, and plan to read it soon. :):)

Oh man, you just reminded me. I really want to get my hands on Balthazar! You have to tell me how that one goes, when you get the chance. :):)

Tiny ♥Hearts (tinyhearts) 20. Paper Towns by John Green

Paper Towns by John Green

I gave this book a 3/5. I think the prose and the protagonist was good, and though it was a little slow, it picked up toward the middle of the book. Unfortunately for me, the book went downhill towards the end, because you don't really get that satisfying feeling once you close the book. Although the ending was realistic, Margo's character pissed me off so much, she did not deserve Quentin. She was so selfish, I just wanted to throttle her.

All in all, I liked it enough to read it, and I look forward to reading more of Green's work. :):)

Tiny ♥Hearts (tinyhearts) 21. Sweethearts by Sara Zarr

One of those cute summer reads, that you can flick through and devour in a day. I liked this book. A little depressing though I might add. It doesn't give you that satisfaction at the end, but I stuck through it, and thought well maybe happy endings don't always happen to those who wait.

Tiny ♥Hearts (tinyhearts) 22. Where She Went by Gayle Foreman
Where She Went (If I Stay, #2) by Gayle Forman

I quite liked this book. A nice sequel and at times, I had to say it was better than the first. Gayle Forman has this poetic feel when it comes to her writing. I’m not sure I was sold with the supporting cast because we only get a smidgen of flashbacks from Adams POV, so everyone seems so one dimensional, but surprisingly it works.
The thing about this book that made me love it, is I was so set on the fact that I was going to be disappointed at the ending, that I didn’t want to get my hopes up in finding that HEA satisfaction I like to look for in stories. However, this just blew me away, and at times I was so moved, I was brought to tears in some parts that reminded me why I liked the first book. Foreman has a way with words that make up for the slow pace that her books start out as, and there’s always those special moments in between that makes the book come together, and it’s easy to forget the nitpicky things you’d rather skim past. And can I just say that the fictional album Collateral Damage is a nice touch to the story, the lyrics had me enthralled, I just felt it was perfect for Adam’s story. It told you a lot about his inner most darkest secrets without saying too much, and I think that alone gave it that magical touch. This is one of those stories that makes you believe that every one is worth a second chance with not only life, but love, and finding that hope in that one person you thought you’d lost forever. Great sequel and a satisfactory ending to Mia and Adams story.
