I nodded, murmuring in agreement. I felt bad, though, remembering how she told me her mum seemed really happy with my dad. I couldn't say the same thing about him, but I didn't want to ruin anyone else's happiness. It didn't feel right.

Eventually I drifted off to sleep listening to his steady heartbeat. I had the best sleep I've ever had in years. When I woke up, I glanced at the clock and saw that it was late evening. My eyes widened. Mom would be home soon. I nudged softly at Ty to wake him up. "Baby... My mom's gonna be home soon.." It pained me that he had to go, but hopefully he could come back tomorrow.

I blinked back the sleep in my eyes, and nearly shot up in alarm at her words. I glanced down at my watch and frowned, lashing myself for drifting off like that. "What time'll she be back?" I murmured, running a hand through my hair as I leaned over and kissed her softly.
MaliaI kissed him back for a while, savoring his lips before he had to leave. I glanced at the clock again. "Probably several minutes..." I let out a sigh, and tears of frustration stung my eyes. I didn't want him to leave. I didn't want him to ever leave.

I nodded, then pulled back and sat up, reaching for my discarded clothes lying scattered on the ground. Sliding on my jeans, I caught the upset look in her eyes and I softened, "I'll be back, Red. I promise."

I nodded and threw myself at him one more time, hugging him tightly and burying my face in his neck. "Call me later if you're still awake, okay?"

"Of course." I murmured, wrapping my arms around her to return the hug before setting her down and kissing the tip of her nose. "Love you, Malia."
Malia"Love you too." I kissed his chin and, after a long while, finally let go of him, but reluctantly.
Mod
I reached down for her hand, bringing it back up to kiss her palm sweetly, then tugged her towards the door as we headed back downstairs and to the front door, my heart growing heavier with every step, despite my words to her.
MaliaI buried my face in his back and held onto him for a while, before I finally let go. As he walked to his car, I stayed at the doorway and waved to him, smiling. "Come back tomorrow," I said with a wink. "I might just have a surprise."

My brow quirked at the news, "That so? What time?" My voice had gone rough around the edges and I knew she could tell too. I felt cold without her to hold and keep warm, and my grip on the open door of my Jeep tightened as I forced myself not to walk back to her.
Malia"Same time. After school." I glanced at the clock inside, and then back to Ty. "Crap, she might be here any minute. You have to go." As much as it pained me to say it.

I sighed heavily, giving her one last lingering look over my shoulder before opening my car door and sliding in. The engine rumbled to life and I looked back one last time, lifting my fingers to my lips and holding it out to her, "Love you, Red. I'll be back tomorrow." Then I shut the door and reversed the car out.
Malia"Love you too," I said softly even though he couldn't hear. I stayed in the doorway and watched as his car eventually faded out of my view. Several minutes later, my mother's car pulled up on our driveway, and I sighed.

I took my time driving back, thoughts of Malia running through my mine. Would she be alright? Would she be happy to see me again? By the time I got back, it was close to ten, and I let myself into the house quietly, checking up on the twins and Lydia before heading to my room.
MaliaI greeted Mom and immediately went back upstairs, grabbing my phone and dialing his number. Thoughts of the events of the day made me tingle all over, and made me so excited for tomorrow.

I was lying on my bed, looking blankly up at my blue ceiling when the sound of a vibration had me jerking up. I reached for my phone on the bedside table and answered it without looking at the caller I.D. "Hello?"
Malia"Hi," I said softly, snuggling into the sheets with a big smile on my face. "God, I'm already so impatient for tomorrow. I hope you'll like the surprise."

I perked up when I heard her smooth voice through the phone. "Did I mention how soft, to my absolute delight, your hair was?" I teased, remembering how I had told her the first I wanted to do was touch her hair.
Malia"Did I mention how muscley your body was?" I closed my eyes and imagined him on top of me again. "You were much more fit than I thought." He was fit enough to be a jock... Wait. Was he a jock? He never told me. "Are you like, a jock at your school or something?"

"Muscley, huh?" I was amused, then chuckled at her question, "Quarterback. Football." Just then, there was a short whine and pawing sounds behind my door and I got up to walk over and open it to let Sprite in.
MaliaMy eyes widened. I did not know this. "Then what are you doing with me?" I teased. "Snag the captain of the cheerleading squad or something. I'm pretty sure I'm dirt compared to her."

A scowl slid onto my face when she mentioned that. "That girl hardly dresses enough to cover up at least fifty per cent of her body. Not to mention the lack of smarts. My dog can score better grades than her." I scoffed, rubbing Sprite between the ears when she leapt up onto my bed.
MaliaMy smile faltered a little as I thought about his past girlfriends. Or maybe...worse. Maybe he didn't have girlfriends. Just...conquests. Was he that kind of guy? Was I just stereotyping high school quarterbacks? Was I dumb to even think about his past when I should just be focusing on the present?

I suddenly felt her silence and worry nagged at me, "Red? What's wrong?" Sprite whined once, looking up to me with soulful eyes when I stopped my massaging.
MaliaI snapped out of it. "Nothing," I said, forcing my smile to come back. "I'm just...falling asleep," I lied. I hated lying to him, but... Telling the truth would probably lead to bad things.

I softened, even though it nagged at me that she sounded like she was hiding something. "Head to bed, then." I murmured, "I'll see you tomorrow again."
MaliaMy forced smile turned into a real one. "I can't wait," I whispered, my heart fluttering all over the place. "I love you, Ty," I said. "So much. You know that, right?" Why was I suddenly...doubtful? Ugh. Okay, I guess I couldn't deny the fact that the knowledge that he was a quarterback made me severely self-conscious.

"Of course, Malia.." My voice was soft, "And I love you too. I just wish I could hold you while you sleep..." Now that'll be a wish come true.
MaliaThat did it. I had the biggest grin on my face and my heart was fluttering even more frantically. "That'll have to wait til tomorrow," I hinted. He was so going to flip out once he gets the surprise. Before he could say anything else, I quickly added a "Love you, bye," and a little kissing noise before I hung up. Then I went to sleep dreaming of tomorrow and how amazing it will be.

My eyes widened in surprise at her words, but she hung up before I could say another word. Clucking my tongue, I wondered, not for the first time what the surprise would be, then I grinned in anticipation and scooted back onto my bed, nudging Sprite closer so I could wrap my arms around my German Shepard and pretend she was my girlfriend.
MaliaThe next day after school, I was so giddy with excitement. My mom had to go out of town until tomorrow, so I had the whole house to myself, but Ty didn't know that. I rushed to the mall and bought the sexiest and affordable lingerie I could find, and I went home and put it on, excited for Ty to get here.

I shot out of the carpark like a madman the second I was in my car, a minute after the bell rang to dismiss everyone. I was that quick. Taking off, I wondered if I should call Malia to let her know I was on my way, but decided against it. If she was going to give me a surprise, then I would have one for her too. Along the way, I made a quick stop to grab my present for her, then took off again.
MaliaWhen I heard the honk honk of his car, I was ready. I looked myself over again, making sure my hair was just right. The new lingerie I got did fit me nicely, I guess. I put on a baggy sweater over it for now, though, so he couldn't see yet. Then I rushed out of my room and to the front door, beaming.

I got out of the car, a wide grin on my face as I grabbed the bouquet of yellow and white roses and hid them behind me before I shut the door and met her halfway. Reaching a hand around, I cupped her face and brought her in for a deep kiss.
MaliaEven after all this time, I still couldn't believe he was really mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him inside as we kissed. I peeked over his shoulder with one eye and giggled when I saw the bouquet. "Awww, they're gorgeous."

"Could you at least act surprised?" I murmured, nibbling along the shell of her ear, chuckling. My hands around her waist to support her as she backed us into the house.
MaliaI chuckled and nuzzled my nose against his. "I am." I took the bouquet and put it in an empty vase on the nearest table, then walked back into Ty's arms, grinning. "I have an even bigger surprise." I leaned into his ear. "You're staying here tonight. My mother's out of town."

My eyebrows shot up so high they probably disappeared into my hairline. "Well, then what're we waiting for?" I grinned and lowered my head down, kissing her softly, then the corners of her lips and along her jaw.
Malia"But that's not all...." I winked and stepped back a little, then slid off my shirt, revealing my new lingerie. It was black and lacy. I blushed at his expression.

I mouth dropped open and I let my eyes trail down the length of her body with deliberate slowness. "Holy...shit..." I breathed out when I finally met her gaze again.
MaliaI giggled softly, and then walked upstairs with swaying hips, beckoning him to follow me. "By the way, lose the clothes," I said with a wink.

It was like I couldn't my shirt off fast enough. When my fingers landed on my zipper, though, I paused, thinking I could give her a treat in return. She'd have a hall of a time trying to get me out of my pants, then. Grinning, I just tossed my shirt aside and kicked my shoes off before jogging after her upstairs, only in my jeans.
MaliaI peeked over my shoulder and my heartbeat quickened at the sight of him only in his jeans, his eyes darkening with lust. He looked so sexy... I smiled wider and then slipped into my room while my hands played with the clip of my lacy black bra.

I pushed open the door slowly, my eyes immediately latching onto her standing in the middle of the room. "Malia..." I breathed out her name and advanced steadily, my eyes heated, voice low and rough.
MaliaMy back was still to him, and I let my bra slide off, my heart beating thrice as fast when I heard him breathe out my name in that sexy, lust-filled voice of his. And then I turned around, but I couldn't help but blush as he looked down to my bare breasts.

My eyes widened when she undid the clasp of her bra and it dropped down, then she turned around to face me slowly and I knew I was in for it. I advanced towards her, letting my gaze fill up with her beauty, hoping I looked as rugged as I felt. "Gorgeous." I whispered, my voice barely audible.
Malia"You have no idea how much that means to me.." I wrapped my arms around his neck and leaned close so our chests were pressed together. I smiled as our noses touched and our lips brushed. "I'm all yours for the rest of the day..."

My eyes closed at those blissful words and I breathed in her scent. "And you have no idea what it does to me when you say that." I rasped, then wasted no time as my hands snaked up to dig into her hair and mash my mouth to hers hungrily.
Malia
I sighed, expecting that answer. I lifted my head from his chest and looked up at him with a serious expression. "We have to do something about it eventually, though. I don't wanna be with you only in secret..."
