Malia"Get to the part where we live happily ever after," I said with a small chuckle, snuggling my sheets as if I were snuggling him. My eyes started to grow tired.
((I'm gonna skip to dinner night on my next post. :D Ty's family will be going to her house, but all Ty knows is that they're going to her town so he's all excited))

I laughed softly at her excitement, "Your wish, my command."
"A young man not worthy of her passion or grace,
Was lucky enough to earn her embrace.
He loved her with every slither of his heart
And she alone had the power to tear him apart."
My voice had gone soft by now.
"Every time he looked to her he saw,
An angel so perfect, regardless her flaws.
Every smile, every twinkle, every laugh, he adored
And he knew he could love no other any more."
"The end."

MaliaI took a deep breath as I looked myself over in the mirror one more time. I'm wearing a casual yet formal knee-length azure dress, and my hair is let down in loose waves down my back. Today was the day. Would I like this guy? Would I like his kids? Hell, would they like me? Mom said I had to really dress up for tonight, and that got me thinking that they might be snobs or something. It was all so nerve-wrecking.

Dammit. I yanked off the tie for the fourth time, and not with the gentleness I'd handled with it earlier either. My scowling face was glaring at the most annoying piece of black fabric hanging loosely by my neck, reflected in the mirror as I tried to fold it nicely again and again, but to no avail. Screw this. I slid it off and undid the top two buttons of my white shirt, the black blazer I wore seemed a great contrast. I ran my hand through my hair, mussing it up before I tossed the tie to one side and grabbed my phone, heading out of my room and calling out for the rest of my family. "Lyds! Jase, Reed! Come on, we're going to be late if you don't get out here now."

Malia"Lia, they're almost here!" I heard Mom call from downstairs. With a sigh, I walked out of my room and down the stairs. Mom really went all out with making the place perfectly clean. The dining table was already set, and the smell of her cooking filled the air, making my mouth water as it always did. Mom was already standing in front of the window by our front door, eager and anxious.

Not for the first time, I glanced down at my watch impatiently, once more cursing dad and his stupid work. Of course he wouldn't be able to pick us up, and once again, it all fell down to me to "make sure you get everyone else there on time." Ugh. Lydia came sliding down the stairs, all huffed up, and I almost rolled my eyes at the sight of her untamed and unruly curls. She whined for me to do her hair, and I had no choice but to comply as we waited for the terror twins, who came pounding down two minutes later. Oh yeah, we're going to make an impression, all right.

MaliaI could see Mom shaking, and my eyes widened as I walked over to her. "Hey, Mom. Relax," I said, putting a hand on her shoulder. "You're acting like we're getting a visit from the Queen or something." She kept looking out the window eagerly. It amazed me how, even though she was forty-three, she looked at least fifteen years younger. "I'm just really worried, Lia," she said. "What if his kids don't like me?" "I'll beat 'em up," I said with a grin, but she gave me a sharp look. I raised my hands in surrender. "I'm kidding, Mom. Jeez."

I hustled them out of the house and into my jeep. Lydia called shotgun before one of the boys could do it, and the rest of the car ride was a whole lot of screaming and shouting how unfair everything was. I would have kept control of everything, but my nerves were a wreck. I still couldn't believe the town we were heading to was were Malia was staying. When dad gave me the address and I searched it up, I thought it was a huge joke at first, but I hadn't gotten to tell her the news. Maybe I could call her, and find a way to slip out and meet her somewhere. I hardly thought about the new possible-addition-to-our-family or dad's girlfriend for that matter.

MaliaSuddenly Mom squealed as she saw a sleek looking car pull up on our driveway, and she quickly fixed her dress before opening the door. A dashing man walked out of the car, and his smile was friendly. "Mark!" Mom said, rushing over to him and wrapping her arms around his neck, giving him a quick kiss. "Where are your kids?" "Oh, they're on their way here," he said. "My eldest insisted he wanted to drive them here and I let him." His eyes turned to me and he smiled. "Ah, hello there. You must be Malia." I smiled back and nodded formally, glad that his kids weren't here yet. Mom ushered for him to come in.
Tyson
We reached there soon enough, me driving at a speed that could have broken at least ten traffic laws, but still arrived ten minutes late. I'd get hell from dad for that, but hey, it was well worth it, just to get him all riled up. I felt the same dread uncurl from my stomach as I stepped out of the car and everyone else poured out. Lydia walked around to slip her small hand into mine, her brows wrinkled and worry creasing her face. "I don't want to go in, Ty." She muttered in a soft voice and I sighed, coming to kneel down in front of her, "Hey, its alright, Lyds. You can do this. We all can. Tell you what, how about I get us all ice cream later? My treat. Wherever you want." That did the trick and she broke out into a dazzling smile and nodded. I gathered Reed and Jason and we walked up to the front door, noting how dad's car was already parked in the driveway. Like he belonged. I swallowed the bitter thought down.

MaliaMom and Mark were already in the dining room, so when there was a knock on the door, I offered to get it. I was feeling a tad uncomfortable by all the affection they were showing each other. I walked to the door and opened it to find four kids, but only one of them caught my attention. Standing in front of me was the one boy I loved. At first I smiled, filled with joy that Tyson was really here, and I wanted to shout with glee and jump into his arms and never let go. But then, as realization came, and as I noticed quite a resemblance with him and Mark... It felt as if I were run over by a truck. A speeding, merciless truck with spikes everywhere. Here was the most gorgeous, amazing boy in the world, yet he was untouchable. No. Nonononono. I couldn't move. I just stood there like a dumbfound idiot. Tyson was going to be...my stepbrother?

I was still settling the boys down when the door opened, and when I glanced up, my eyes widened and my mouth dropped open. "Malia?!" I stuttered out, surprised beyond comprehension. I could see Lydia out of the corner of my eyes looking back and forth between us with a look that scared me, but my attention was mostly on the red-haired girl in front of me, looking equally surprised. "W-wha--how?!" For a second I thought I'd gotten the wrong address, but then my eyes slid past her into the house, and I saw my dad get up from a couch, a woman by his side as they made their way over.

Malia"Sweetie... Are you okay?" Mom asked from behind me, but I still couldn't move. My eyes were glued to Ty's. He was right there! "Hi, kids, come on in!" she said, ushering them in while I sagged back. "Mom... I have to go, I....f-forgot to feed Pascal." She opened her mouth to say something to me but I turned and quickly dashed upstairs, tears threatening to burst. The boy I loved would soon be my stepbrother. The knowledge was like a blow to my gut.
Tyson
"Malia!" Her name tore out of me before I could stop myself, and I watched with distraught eyes as she fled back into the house, her excuse lacking conviction. Swallowing down my despair, I shuffled the rest of the kids in, and for some reason, Lydia wouldn't quit staring up at me. Dad approached us, and I could already see the well-hidden fire that licked behind his dark gaze. "Tyson. You're late." "No shit." I muttered back, levelling a cool gaze to him. "Some guy was supposed to pick us up, but he backed out at the last minute. As. Always." Before I could see his reaction, I whirled around, forcing a dazzling smile to the woman behind us who was just shutting the door. "Hello, its nice to finally meet you. You must be Kiara. I'm Tyson, this my sister, Lydia," I nudged her forward, but she wouldn't meet Kiara's eyes, then I nodded to the twins, "and these are the twins, Reed and Jason."

MaliaI slammed the door of my room and crumbled down, grabbing my pillow and screaming into it in frustration. I just couldn't believe that Tyson was physically here, but I couldn't even touch him. I'd never be able to, because he would be my stepbrother. I heard him call my name downstairs and I froze. Would Mom find out that we knew each other? Would Mom find out we were in love? So many thoughts swirled in my head, and I just wanted them to go away. I clutched my pillow and sobbed into it. This was not how I imagined meeting Ty would be like.
Tyson
Kiara was nice enough to Lydia, kneeling down in front of her and smiling sweetly, introducing herself as I tried to detach my hand from my sister's iron grip. "Um, excuse my lack of manners, but the ride was long and if you could just show me the bathroom?" I prayed hard that she directed me upstairs. I ached to find Malia, finally see this was all real. I didn't care much about anything else. I could literally hear dad grind his teeth behind me, but I ignored him studiously as Reed and Jason explored the rest of the house. I barked out for them to be careful, vague in my focus.

MaliaI stayed there curled up against my bedroom door, thoughts still swirling. I heard footsteps down the hall and my breath caught. Did Mom let Ty go upstairs? Maybe if we could be alone, there was some way to work this out. With my hopes high, I stood up and opened the door slightly to peek out into the hallway.
Tyson
I could have kissed the older woman myself when she told me it was somewhere upstairs, and I climbed up the stairs, two at a time, hoping I didn't look too desperate. After all, they just thought I was going to the bathroom. I could feel my sister's gaze burn a hold into my back and I fought not to look back or wince. Once I was upstairs and got my bearings, I looked about the rooms, making the best guess to which one Malia would be in. The second I heard a creak further up, my head snapped up and I strode over purposefully, my eyes locked onto the grey pair that peered around an open door.

MaliaWithout thinking, I pulled him into my room and slammed the door shut, locking it. And then I threw my arms around him and clutched him as if I might fall fifty feet if I let go. "Oh God, Tyson. Oh God, it's you!" My hands roamed his face, still finding it hard to believe that he was right here. "Oh my God, Ty.. You're really here..."
Tyson
My control snapped then, and I pulled back slightly, my hands reaching up to cover over hers as I dipped down and our lips connected with a desperation I was sure leaked out of me. I cut off whatever she was about to say next, and fulfilled my silent promise to both me and her about kissing her senseless. I walked her backwards and her back hit the wall as I kept tasting her, acquainting myself with her lips, which were as soft as I'd imagined.

MaliaMy fingers threaded into his soft hair, messing it up, and I enjoyed every second of it. It was everything I ever dreamed of and more. His lips were warm against mine and tasted so delicious. I suddenly found myself jumping onto him and wrapping my legs around his waist, sending him slightly tumbling backwards. Our kiss heated up and I never ever wanted it to end.
Tyson
Her reaction spiked lust and joy through me, and my arms snaked around to hold her against my hips, her back supported by the wall as our kiss grew more desperate by the second. I broke off only when I ran out of air, but only for half a second before I descended onto her lips again. I moaned her name in between and pressed my body up against hers, so I could feel every curve and contour fit perfectly against me. God, this was even better than I've always imagined.

MaliaAfter the kiss, I struggled to breathe, my forehead against his. I gazed into his eyes and tears formed in mine, but I was smiling. "You're here... You're really really here..." I wanted to forget about how he was going to be my stepbrother soon. Right now, he was all mine.
Tyson
My grin was crooked, and this time when I kissed her, it was soft and sweet, lingering. "Now that should've been our first kiss." I murmured when I pulled back, my hand reaching up to gently brush her hair back as I let myself drown in her eyes.

MaliaI buried my face in the hollow of his neck, breathing in his scent. "We can't let them get married..." I whispered. I didn't want them to anymore. I knew that Mark made Mom very happy. She practically glowed ever since they started dating. But... I couldn't possibly be Tyson's stepsister. Just the thought of it made me shiver. "We just can't, Ty... I have to be with you."
Tyson
"Shh.." I murmured and stroked her hair, hugging her close to me, "Even if they do get together, it won't last. Trust me, I know, I've had experience. Thrice." Still, that dread curled back up in my stomach again, even as I tried to push it aside. I wanted to be with her too, so badly I ached for it. For her.

Malia"What if it does, Ty? My mom loves him..." I looked up at him with sad yet hopeful eyes. "At first I wanted them to get married, because Mark makes her the happiest she's ever been. But now... I'm terrified." What if Ty lived here as my stepbrother? We wouldn't be able to be open with each other at school, and I'd have to be forced to see other girls flock all over him everyday, and I wouldn't be able to do anything about it. Everything with us would have to be kept secret.
((might need to go soon ): ))
Tyson
"And so has many other women." I said gently, trying to convince both myself and her. "I've seen ladies gush over my dad and claim how in love they are with him, but it never lasts." I didn't want to crush her hopes for her mom, but if it came to me and her or my dad and her mom, I'd pick us any day. Hey, I'd even resort to scheming to have them break up. It was the least I could do for dad. The bitter thought surprised me.

I nodded and snuggled into him tightly, my head tucked under his chin. It was amazing how I fit snugly and perfectly in his arms, as if I belonged there. "What do we do now, though?" I whispered. "Pretend? I'm not sure I'd be able to be near you without throwing myself at you."
Tyson
My chuckle was rough and a bit out of place, but I played with her hair lightly, running my fingers through them. "Just a little more longer, Red. We can sneak off every few hours, I promise. Then I get to have you for myself." I lowered my head and nuzzled into her affectionately.

Malia"Well... Okay." I smiled and lifted my head to kiss him again, softly and slowly, savoring the taste of his lips, because I didn't think I could kiss him very often. We stayed there and held each other for a while, and I almost forgot that we had to go downstairs. "Come on... We don't want them to get any ideas."
Tyson
My sigh was heavy, but I didn't let my hold on her go as we slid out the room. "I'll head down first, so they won't suspect anything." Reluctance bit at me that I would have to pretend once more.

MaliaI nodded, but held onto him still. After a long while of hesitating, I finally let him go. The huge weight on my shoulders suddenly jumped back onto me, and it felt like the temperature dropped without his arms around me. I waited for him to go into the dining room before I fixed up my dress and hair, took a deep breath, and walked downstairs, preparing myself for whatever came next.
((gtg Fauzy D: sorry babez, bb! <3))

I came back down and Kiara didn't miss my inconspicuous entrance, instantly heading straight for me and slid her arm through mine, surprising me. "Finally! I was beginning to think you fell in." She teased, and I chuckled, although it didn't reach my eyes, "Apologies, I got lost." Lydia suddenly appeared by my side, and I didn't like the searching look she gave me that made me squirm. She didn't say anything, though, as she hooked her arm around mine and tugged me towards the table and out of Kiara's grasp. I tossed her an apologetic look over my shoulder.

I went into the dining room with a forced smile and sat next to Mom, putting food on my plate. Mom and Mark talked a lot, and she tried to get me into the conversation, but I avoided as best as I could. I didn't feel like talking at all. I just nodded politely at Mark and answered his questions. My eyes kept straying over to Ty, and I felt a pinch in my gut everytime.
Tyson
This was officially my worst night as of yet. The girl of my dreams was sitting not five feet away from me and I couldn't even touch her, couldn't even look at her the way I wanted to. I was sullen as I ate, even though Kiara tried more than once to draw me out of my quiet state, that and my dad's constant killer glares. It ached. Not because of my dad, but because now that me and Malia were together, we couldn't stay together.

MaliaAfter dinner, we all parted ways. I secretly leaned into Ty before he left. "Come online tonight?" I whispered, smiling at him. It really depressed me how we'd have to go back to our online ways after this, but maybe now that he knew where I lived, we could meet often. We'd have to do it in secret, but...
Tyson
"Not even God could stop me." I promised, glancing around quickly before swooping down to capture her lips with mine, leaving her breathless with the heated kiss we shared. "Love you, Red. I'll see you soon." With that, I brushed my lips across her forehead before pulling away and striding over to my Jeep, jaws clenched as I fought not to look back.

MaliaAfterwards I still had a huge problem catching my breath. When they left, Mom kept asking questions if I was okay or why I was acting weird, but I navigated away from them as much as I could. In the end, she gave up and we both went to our rooms. After I'd changed and washed up, I immediately logged on.
Tyson
I sped back home like the hounds of hell were on my heel, but at least every now and then I made sure to be careful. Still, I think I kinda freaked Lydia out a bit with the way I drove back home. No sooner had I shuffled them into the house when we arrived and locked the door, did I sprint upstairs and turn my laptop on, waiting impatiently for it

Isthisthingon: think it'd be weird if i kiss my computer and pretend its you instead?
My reply was swift in a rush to connect with her again. God, I could still feel the burn of her lips on mine...What I wouldn't give to feel that again. To feel her.

I clicked on the little webcam button, needing to see him again and hear his voice.

Isthisthingon: agreed.
I practically lunged for the accept button as our chat windows opened up and I waited eagerly for her gorgeous eyes to appear. "Malia..." I breathed out in relief when her beautiful face popped up.

MaliaMy hand immediately reached for the computer screen to touch his cheek, but I cursed under my breath when I only felt the cold surface of the monitor. "I need to be with you again...." I whispered, tears of frustration threatening to just burst out of me. I needed him that badly. "Please tell me you'll try to come back tomorrow.. Maybe we could meet somewhere?"
Tyson
"Don't cry, Red.." I murmured, my heart seizing at the sight of the tears lingering in her eyes, "I'll come by tomorrow. I promise. Just tell me when, and make sure we'll be alone. Anywhere. Anytime."

Malia"My mom will be at work all day tomorrow," I said, brightening up a little now that I remembered. "Come over after school? Please?"

"Nothing will stop me." I vowed, then despite my silly thoughts, leaned forward and brushed my lips across my screen, hating the cool surface that touched my mouth instead.
