Maria Rodriguez Hertz I have it too, at least a little, some words and letters and numbers have colors, but others just don't, and others have but I think of it in the back of my mind, and can't really put my finger on it. Like, the moment I see the word a color will appear on my mind. And sometimes I connect letters and numbers, or one word with another, or letters or numbers or colors with shapes. Also, some people have colors, like different from their names, even though sometimes it'd the same. I don't know my color though.

Littledino1011 I have synesthesia in sounds.I see vibrant almost northern lights-like effects in the air when listening to music or hearing voices. Some voices are so pretty i end up looking at the colours not listening to what is said. When i was little i hated to play in big groups because too many voices over each other clash and the colours give me a migrane. It isn't odd for me, though. It's just life.

➳Halina➳ I wish I had synesthesia. It would be cool to see colors when I hear things, but I think i would like to have a taste kind of synesthesia. Like when I would hear something I could taste something! That would be cool.

I'm not trying to be rude at all, but scientists studying synesthesia think that everyone had synesthesia when they were born, but most people loose it after that, but some keep it. I think that if you keep it after that, then you can't loose it.

Sophia Gibson I know that most of the Synesthesia people out there in the comment section have already been badgered about this... But what color is my name to you guys? It amazing how it depends on the specific person's Synesthesia!
~ thanks <3

A Does the color of the name change from person to person?
And does the color of someone's name change if you have two names?
Like, my name is Abby and my middle name is Lorraine. Does the color change if you add the two names together?

I am sorry if this offends you, but what are/is the color(s) of my name?

Finn Synesthesia is fascinating. I'm writing a book where I have a character who's a synesthete... does anyone have any recommendations on how to write for him? I don't have synesthesia myself but words and numbers do have colors for me, a little.

I don't think I have synesthesia, but I thought you might appreciate an answer. Abby is kind of yellow and Lorraine is a dark orange.

Green! Love your name, by the way. And synesthesia's not really such a big deal... it's just something random our brains do.
