Lis wrote: "Just waiting on Mr Randomizer... Finally afternoon in my time zone, so let the drinks begin."Afternoon here too, so it's drinking time. Though I feel a little out of league with my margaritas when apparently there's suicides and AMFs being thrown around. Maybe I will have to step it up a bit?

(just kidding) Really, is it that hidden...or is it..."Thanks, Valerie! I hope that does the trick...I didn't notice the tabs at the very top. I need a book called Goodreads for Dummies!
Purple Rain is Grenadine, Peach Schnapps, white rum, lemonade, sweet & sour & Blue Curacao. It's really fizzy & refreshing :)
I needs me a Purple Rain (or two). Anything with Peach Schnapps is good with me. Maybe I'll start with a Peach Long Island's. Anyone else care for one?

Cannot wait for the shelf announcement!I finished the print book and the audiobook I was reading so I need to figure out what to read next!
Wait DG! It always happens that when I chose a book -- I found it could it have been a shelf book. :)
LOL, that's why I'm waiting!I'm also in another challenge in another group I belong and I'd like for the book to fit both!
Almost 6:30 am Japan time...Think she is an early riser? How much recoop time does she need from finals, Tea Party, hubby...BSB R4...
Well...A little while more...
I am in the mood for Samosas...Join me, anyone?
Virtual calories are the best! Less than two months to vacation, diet diet exercise diet... Super Bowl sunday food battle begins in less than 24 hrs.

No problem, I'll make a pitcher unless anyone has a barrel?
I have a half barrel around here somewhere and a few punch bowls...would those work? Is Steph awake yet?
Here is the clock that I use. It continually updates, no refreshing! (Except on my ereader, darn it!)http://www.worldtimeserver.com/curren...
Ohh that's a really neat site to find the time. I will probably use it more often, you Americans all confuse me with your time zones ^^
Ok, it's 9 am in Japan, I have no Peach Schnapps or blue curaçao, so I'm cracking open a Mike's hard limeade... I have extras if anyone wants to join me... The waiting is killing me! Pace pace pace pace... Turn... Pace pace pace.... Turn...
Zaanodes wrote: "We Americans confuse ourselves with our time zones. lol"Don't forget daylight savings time... Let's do it in March, to october oh wait let's change that to November... WTH!?!
At least Europe can take the blame for coming up with DST! lololOf course, that was ___ years ago!
Then Good Ol' Benjamin Franklin started pushing for it here.

I am fighting the urge to join you, Lis...but I can't. Even though this Pink Moscato I discovered yesterday is calling my name...I can't. It takes a lot to get me drunk but if I DO get drunk, I'm gonna be worse than McUseless for the rest of the evening. I can't even watch TV when I'm drunk, better yet read.
And I agree. Changing the start/end date?!?!?Twice a year I am late/early for work. Friday before, EVERYBODY reminds me!
@Lethal. I discovered Moscato while wine tasting in Italy last summer. The closest I've found back home is Cavit Moscato, but it's not pink.
I think tonight I will make myself a good drink and sit and start in on my reading. Starting with the FREE SPACE...
LOL...they've talked about adding DST here (Japan) but just figure everyone would put in even MORE overtime so there would be NO difference in electricity savings, free time, etc.
Judithe wrote: "LOL...they've talked about adding DST here (Japan) but just figure everyone would put in even MORE overtime so there would be NO difference in electricity savings, free time, etc."I keep trying to see the sun and moon jump an hour. I always miss it!
We've had DST here for well over 25 years, and QLD doesn't want to play with the rest of us. LOL. So 4 time zones, & Tassie changes differently so sometimes 5 time zones. We all cope now, just used to it. :D
Thanks Steph! And Good Morning! I hope our Bingo chanting wasn't too loud and didn't wake your hubster.
Steph, I don't know if everyone realizes that you're not posting the shelves in the team threads this round. :(
