The list of shelves is basically to give you an idea of the books, however, if you are GR savvy you could find the shelves but why would you bother wasting your time when you could be reading. LOL

Shelf Info & Other Miscellany:

☺ RE: the 5✯ shelf, yes, it will be the '5-stars' shelf, I used the ✯ on the bingo cards b/c it was prettier. Although some members enjoy poking around shelves prior to announcements, you are not required to do so. I will provide a direct link to the shelf each week. Some members find it more enjoyable to wait until it's announced before hunting for a book.

☺ For this round, I will be posting a direct link to the appropriate shelf on the shelf announcement thread ~ not each individual team thread, so please remember to check there each Sunday.

☺ For those shelves that are "personal shelves" (ie: Reader's choice, New2You, etc), I have marked those on the Bingo card with an asterisk (*). I will make note on the announcement page, as they announced, reminding everyone that that week's book may be chosen from your shelves (or TBR pile) instead of a specific GR's shelf.

☺ Please feel free to ask any questions at anytime! I promise that once we get started, you'll find it is very easy to play.

☺ Remember, you have a full week in between shelf announcements. There is no time limit in which you must read your chosen book, however no stamp is issued until after each team member has read, rated & reviewed their book. Captains, please remember that in order for your team to receive their stamp, you must request it on the Stamp Me! request thread. Be sure to include all the req'd info.

☺ Free space books may be started on/after Sunday, 5 Feb. If you have any questions regarding which books qualify, please review the Free Space Rules thread or ask me. Remember: each member chooses their own book TBR for their team's free space; this is not a team read.

Here's a link to the team stats spreadsheet where we'll be tracking the stamps awarded to each team throughout the game.

The first sheet (tabs are on the bottom of the spreadsheet) shows a shelf/team breakdown and the second sheet shows actual Bingo cards for each team.

It doesn't matter to Steph now that you've confirmed, but your teammates will probably want to friend you especially as you are still private.

Click on the arrow next to your profile picture in the top-right hand corner of the Goodreads screen and select "Edit profile" from the drop-down menu. (Direct link: http://www.goodreads.com/user/edit?fo... - either way, you'll probably need to confirm your password first.) Click on the "Settings" tab. Here you can fix your profile viewing + PM settings. :)

Jessica, I'm assuming it would be the same in any of them, you right click the date/time link on the rhs of the msg and click on copy link location. You can then use the (some html is ok) link to link it whereever you want and make it pretty.

If this doesn't make sense, just post back.

Jessica, I tested it out on Chrome as well. This is how you do it:

1. On right side of the message #, you see the time the message was posted -something like X minutes ago. Click on the time.

2. Then copy the URL from the address bar on top of the browser.

3. Then you just hyperlink to the comment using LInk *a>. Remove the *.

I hope I made sense.
