Habichuelas con Dulce! This is a traditional dish prepared in the Dominican Republic during Lent. It has beans and it's sweet so when I describe it to non-Dominicans, everybody thinks is gross...but it tastes really good!

*snort* just knew y'all 'd be here! We have a similar sweet bean treat, D.J., but more like a soup. Love it, but once a year is my limit...different sweet than the beloved choco.
Love to see the gang hangin' out. Happy pacing! Soon...only about 45 minutes to Sunday...you could dye eggs while you wait (and send some to me...Easter is pretty much a non-event in Japan...)

Yes, it's delicious! I'm having some today.It's made out of beans (you cook and then blend them until they're creamy), and then you add evaporated milk, coconut milk, sugar, cinnamon, cloves and some other stuff.
I was just looking at that! It seems relatively easy to make. I'll see if I can swing it.

As a member of Team 4, I just had to say: MUCH LOVE to Teams 5, 9, and 11!!! We don't need four in a row to keep us happy, WE JUST NEED GOOD BOOKS!!!!

I was laughing looking at our bingo card. It's reached a point where it would be harder to call a shelf that DOESN'T give us four in a row then one that does!!Not that it matters too much. This is my first round of bingo and I've enjoyed it a lot. Can't win the first time, otherwise people could say beginner's luck, right??? ;-)
