I am not sure which thread I posted stuff about Jacob possibly being played by a new actor. But I am sure most of you have heard the rumors by now. So above is a link to a impromptu interview with Michael Copon addressing the Jacob rumors. Personally I think he is great for the role. I loved him on One Tree Hill. He's just the right amount of cute, sweet, and cocky!

I would LOVE if they used Steven Strait for Jacob. I also think that the dude Michael Copon would be great as well. I liked Taylor Laurent's performance as Jacob Black in Twilight. However, the Jacob Black in Twilight and the Jacob Black in New Moon are worlds apart. Taylor has said this himself in interviews. Jacob in New Moon has to have maturity and sex appeal. When I look at Taylor Laurent I just keep thinking about Shark Boy. I think in a few years the kid will be gorgeous but for right now a older actor is needed. So I vote Michael and wish for Steven. Except if the use Steven I might switch from Team Edward to Team Jacob! :)
