My goodness, Jo, your cup is overflowing and not in a fabulous way! I'm amazed at how far you've come with NaNo, especially with everything you have going on. Hang in there! I hope your hubby feels better soon. We'll still be here when you get back. :)
Jo! Hang in there! I know what you mean about needing some alone time. I can't imagine having a houseful and trying to get anything done, let alone some quiet time to maintain your sanity. It's good that you have writing, knitting, and reading to help you clear your head though!
Hugs, Jo!HEre's to keeping your sanity through all of the extras chores and responsibilities that this month has brought on!
My goodness Jo! Sounds like you have been extra busy. That trip to Whole Foods is one of my treats too. I love that store. Their deli section has this tuna cranberry salad that I adore. Well shoot the whole store just makes me happy.
So if you disappeared and went to VT would they notice? You still have a get away hide away here. Hang in there. We are with you in spirit if not in physicality.
Aaawww, I love ya'll! Thank you!Shelby, I know what you mean about Whole Foods! I always feel good while there and when I leave! Any time I got to pick up the things I can't get in the regular food stores, I make a habbit of going through the hot & cold foods buffet and trying a little bit of a few new things each time! Sometimes it doesn't work out, Tuesday it did!
Meg, the real question is, if they notice I'm gone, would I care?! ;) I'm so tempted! Especially if you've got snow!
I just finished that knitting that scarf I mentioned above, it's nice & thick - great for brrr cold weather!
Cyn, by all means, crash away if I flee northbound!
Yes we will have some snow. I am off for two weeks during the Xmas break and y'all are welcome. Chicks on Lit take over VT how much fun would that be?
Sounds great Meg. One of the owners of our company has a cabin in Vermont that they escape to, sounds fantastic!
That scarf I just finished is great for really cold weather! It was only in the 30's here today and Lord knows what it is now and will be tonight. Meg, Chicks on Lit take over VT sounds great to me!
Cindy, we bought Vic some "Snore Extinguisher" yesterday and though he forgot to use it a 1/2 hour before he fell asleep, it must have worked some since I think I slept from about 12:30a until 4:30a before he woke me again! It states on the package: "For urgent situations, spray once in the mouth if awakened by snoring." I was armed and ready - had his mouth been wide open, he was gonna get sprayed!
I'm still tired though. I've got to be careful I don't get too run down so I don't get sick - I've already got a bad arthritis flare-up happening.
Thanksgiving is in 5 days. 5. Sigh.

I was about to lose my ever-living mind as of this Tuesday so I took a break, went to AC Moore for new knitting needles (circulars, I'm going to try my hand at socks!) and yarn, stopped at Whole Foods to treat myself to a few things, then let them all go to Bingo Tuesday evening while I stayed home, straitened up then made a cup of (decaf!) green tea, sat in bed while I knitted and finished "Trail of Crumbs". I was at 20,487 words for NaNo and didn't type 1 all day & was more than ok with it! (I was out anything to write and now I'm at 34,161!)
I'm still exhausted (Hubby's snoring is out of control but I can't sleep in the living room since Sis and nephew are out there - even if I could they both snore too!) but I'm feeling better otherwise even with an arthritis flare-up coming on!
I miss CoL and CoW though! You all have become such a positive part of my life! Thank you for your constant support and inspiration!
