Alexander sat in the library reading a book. It was his favorite pass-time, and currently he had nothing else to do.
Alex was currently reading a book about ancient Egypt. He found that most of his favorite books were either in or about Egypt.
Alex decided to put down the book and went to find one written in Greek. It was another one of his favorite languages.

Alexander looked up, eyebrows raised. "You didn't?"
Alex raised his brows. "Probably not the best place to light a flame. This place is, after all full of books that burn easily..."
"I feel like my powers are a bit useless. I'm just a bouncer and a linguist. My cousin, on the other hand, is a shifter," he sighed.
"My cousin can shift into basically anything and I can not get lost in a foreign country. I almost wonder if we really are cousins..." he sighed an dshook his head.
"Katrina? Wear a collar? I doubt it... Anyways, most of forms she prefers are things like panthers and falcons. Although technically she could do dogs or housecats, she's just not a fan of them," he said thinking over it.
"You're not freak. I know about a thousand languages. I've been called a nerd a lot of times, so I'm not really one to judge by powers," Alex shrugged.
"No, it's alright," Alex said.Darkness walked into the library. She made no sound as she moved, and walked like she owned the place, a lot like a cat would. She looked only in front of her, but it seemed like she saw everything around her. She walked straight to the section on history and found a book specifically on seer history.
Darkness took the book and sat down with it. She began reading, her green, catlike eyes scanned the pages of it the book, searching for the information she needed.Alex shrugged. "Maybe..." He looked over at Darkness curiously.
"I'm not your type," Darkness said, closing the book. She had found what she was looking for and put the book away, Then she walked off, not looking at Alex, even once.Alex watched her go. Then he went back to reading.
"Ah, the one who told me shes not my type... It's like she can read minds," Alex said. "You know what? She probably can... Is there anything I could do to help?"
Alex took the flask out of the bag and did as he was instructed. "Yeah, but I think she's probably specifically a mind reader.""Got that right," Darkness said, walking into the library. "Need any help?"

"It was an accident. Anyways, it's partly your fault for being so close to the target. It's the practice room for heaven's sake, you should have known that being near the targets means someone could easily miss. You're just lucky it was me, it could have easily been someone else who has absolutely no aim," she said.
"Most people have something they call self-control. It's a very useful thing, you know?" she said, no emotion showing on her face excepted for a little annoyance.
"Touch or change me or do anything me and I''ll kill you," she said, her face completely expressionless and her voice cold. You could tell she was completely serious from the way she looked.
"Thanks, sorry about stabbing you," she apologized, and although her eyes and face didn't show it, but she meant it and it slightly showed up in her voice.
"You know I have to go..." Alex said and left.Darkness got out the book she was looking at before, and went back to reading it. She skimmed the pages until she found something she hadn't known before.
Darkness pretended not to notice him and continued to read, her green eyes scanning the pages. When some of her long black hair fell into her face she pushed it back and continued to read.
Jack read a book on different concealed killing techniques with a dagger he had his shadows flip the pages.
Darkness looked up and saw Jack. For a few seconds she looked over him, but then decided that he wasn't an immediate threat and went back to reading.
