Day 15- Wrong Wong

What's Wrong With Wong? What do you think his story could be?

Here's my crazy take on Wong:
He has to stay quiet or not say what he knows b/c they threaten his family and they will not be able to join their ancestors. The are being held in the bowls of hell. He has been banned from speaking what he knows, but not from physically being in the presence of the gates of heaven. He is able to see the future and knew that Charley would be living there soon, so he went to her. He can't speak, but he is hoping that Charley ask the right question or figures the riddle out!

LOL I'm so full of it! I'm clueless, but Wong is one heck of a levitating mystery. I can't wait to find out what the heck is going on!

I think of him as one extremely traumatized soul, and I'm glad that Charley continues to say hello to him. It's not much interaction, but at least she hasn't put a bookshelf in front of him to hide him.

Nobody puts Wong in the corner! :)
(I'm going to feel really old if nobody gets that reference.)

Now...why is he traumatized? You might be on to something with your thought that he can see the future - I've wondered if he is one of those ghosts that can see too much. Like he's drawn to Charley but he ultimately knows something about Reyes so he stifles it, or he has a greater purpose that hasn't been woken up, or he's one of the devil's spies, or... Oh heck, he levitates in a corner. That's not much to go from. His story could be *anything*!

Here's my Wong famiy. His family were the caretakers of a powerful object. He was approached to give the object up and when he refused his soul was banished. Unable to reach the ancesters for help he is now in a state of dispair. Charley moves in, but he thinks, this silly American girl can not help against these ancient forces. But at some point, this object is going to come to play a role for Charley and Reyes and while they are discussing it Wong will turn around, extremely upset, and tell them they can't possibly obtain it...thus launching all three into another adventure.

I think as long as Wong is hiding his eyes in the corner, he can't see Charley's glow and be forced to move on. Charley thinks he was a prisoner of some war...he refuses to move on because he has unfinished business. Now it's time to find out his tale. Why hover? Is he good? Is he evil? Inquiring minds wanna know. (Got the Baby in the corner inference too)

Of course Darynda has all bases covered, Wong is bound to surprise us. It's just so much fun trying to be smart and "figure" things out for ourselves! (Yeah, we should just keep dreaming) ;-0

Why Does Mr. Wong float? Is he so pure he walks on air? Is he so evil he can't touch the floor of Charley's hallowed halls? And how can she have spirit sex in the same room as the little perv? (lol THAT LAST JUST HAD TO BE ASKED)!

Cindy -we think alike. I always envisioned Wong as a prisoner of war too.
