Acacia (acaciaa) Pitch your script as if you were pitching it to:

1. A small film studio who promised to give you full reign over the final project, and wants only to share your beautiful masterpiece with the world.

2. A Hollywood director.

READY SET GO.

I think this should be plenty interesting.

Someone call George Clooney. He'll want a piece of this.

Okay, just kidding. Mostly. A dude really does meet a little girl in fabulous clothes though. He's walking home, and bam! a little girl in some ballerina kind of stuff is there and she's got a wand and then she notices him and runs away and he's all "wut". Later on, he meets her again, but she isn't dressed up and she enlists his help in finding her missing cat.

...It is nothing like how it sounds in my head.

Here We Go...

It's 500 years from the present date. Almost everyone - known as truthtellers - has been killed off the planet and the rest are hidden in small safetowns around the world they are the liars. Megan is 15 years old and one of the few truthtellers left on the planet they still called earth. Her life is valuable and the secrets of her family are dangerous. Yet she wants out of the stuffy church she's been living in all her life. Now Megan's on the run and the only thing keeping her going in the town full of lies is the truth.

Yup that's about it. Cool stuff.

The Disney version of Lolita.

message 10: by Acacia (new)

Acacia (acaciaa) I'm doing Brigid's story Unraveling as a script, so SPOILER if you want to read it and haven't. But ANYWAY, I am pretty sure this is the best way to pitch that book:

Oh, on the subject of script writing-ness. ONE OF MY PLAYS IS GOING TO BE IN THIS PLAY FESTIVAL THINGIE AND ME SO EXCITED. I mean, it's just like, at my college. But still. I get to help the director and actors rehearse and stuff, and it'll be super cool.

Thankies. Ahhh, it really is. I've only seen it happen once but this will be even more awesome. Because like, the first time I only got to see one rehearsal. And for this one I get to see three rehearsals. MWAHAHAHA.

Elle Doe (thegrandlowblood) | 21 comments Seriously, this is my story, though

A man goes off to war, leaving his girlfriend and his little sister in the states. Soon he begins to have terrible nightmares with an insane man he swears he's seen before.
One day, someone shows him a picture of this man and the other man realizes that he exists. So he sets off to find him ((And Dave Strider has an enchilada baby))
