R34: What if Rule 34 Was a Movie?

Sounds like the 2nd person was really confusing. Maybe 3rd person or a movie would be clearer. I wonder if they changed the tone of voice for each character in the audiobook.

Overall, I think it really improved the experience for me to hear the Scottish accents.

But I think Rule 34 could be one of those examples. All while I was reading it, getting confused on exactly what was going on and in particular getting confused about the Toymaker, I thought to myself that it'd probably be more clear if it were a movie. Did anybody else feel this way?
I figured a movie could put more emphasis on Liz, on the Toymaker, and a dark entity behind The Operation. It would be easier to follow who was where and what they were doing/why it mattered. And I'd hope that a movie could make the actual "operation" a little more clear in general, perhaps by showing us how much of a pawn Anwar really was.
So...I'm no good with actors and directors and such. Somehow, I'm seeing someone like either Charlize Theron or Anjelina Jolie as Liz. Maybe somebody like Gary Busey like the Toymaker. William H. Macy as Dickie. And maybe someone like Dennis Hopper or Donald Sutherland as the entity behind The Operation.
Any thoughts? Am I completely off-base?
