Stephanie has said she has two more books outlined (The Soul and The Seeker), but not sure she would write them. I'd like to read the sequels myself, but that's because I love how she writes. For me is less about The Host and more about liking what Stephanie does with her work.
i REALLY want a sequeli want to see the humans and souls find some...closure i guess
and i just want more ian/wanda/melanie/jared awesomeness!!!
I think it's better left alone the way it is. I enjoyed this book very much and part of what made it so good in my eyes was the ending where one had hope, but not a final resolution. Personally I'm afraid that if she feels the need to write a sequel or make it into a series we'll end up with some great unrealistic showdown (like a war or something) in the end or a very, very sad ending...

Melenie and Wanda had both gotten what they wanted, they were saving peo..."Sorry, but I think this was her worst book. I kept on pushing myself to finish it. Very unlike the Twilight series which I could not put down.
this book surpasses twilight on so many levels. its more realistic for me. i mean i love the twiligh series; breaking dawn was my favorite, but this book caught my interest more. more exciting
Absolutely. And for the people crying about not making a sequel 'cos the first was "at it's best", DONT READ IT. Simple.
Part of me screams yes but that is the part that just wants to confirm that they got their "happily ever after" so to speak. My curiosity wants to know about AFTER.The reality is, this book finished the story. If there were a sequel it would be too difficult to make it believable and not feel forced. Like a movie that never should have gotten a sequel.

On one hand it would be nice to have a sequel to where questions the reader comes up with might be answered, but on the other hand it is an excellent book on its own. For me; hard to say, due to that if the sequel is not up to the standards as the first book, might just be disappointed, but I doubt that. And therefore again it most likely leave you with more questions and earning for another book to follow, which neither are bad anyway you look at it.

Can't wait to see the movie!!

Definitely scope for a sequel and I sincerely hope she is writing it at this very minute. Can't wait to see the movie!
I think she should make one! I enjoy reading sequals and getting engaged in a characters life. Its quite interesting to me. I dont think it would do any harm because Meyers is a great author and I dont think she can possibly make the book horrible. If you dont want a sequal, dont read it. Plain and simple. Leave it for the ones who want it.(:
It bugs me when sequels are written when Im content with the ending :/ Im happy to think that it ended and everything worked out :')
I didn't like this book at all, so I would not read a sequal. The Twilight series were a good bunch of books, that needed sequals.
