Ok folks!! Most of you guys should know about points, especially, if you're apart of some of the bigger groups on Goodreads. If not Points is a fun system to show who's the most active members in the group, and it encourages other members to become more active!! You can sign up for monthly points in the appropriate topic. The first and second most active members will get special privilages each month! Exciting I know. (= So here's the ways you can get point:

5pts-Sign up for Points
5pts-Reviewing a book in the reviews topic
5pts-Join a challenge
5pts-Complete a challenge
5pts-Compete in a writing competition
10pts-Place 1st in a writing competition
7pts-Place 2nd in a writing competition
4pts-Place 3rd in a writing competition
3pts-Suggest tourney contestants
3pts-Invite members and have them say you invited them
2pts-Vote on tourney, MR, and theme polls
2pts-Post your writings
1pt-Per MR you suggest up to 4pts
3pts-Join in on MR discussions
1pt-Creating a game or book discussion topic

My only question because this is the first time that I have heard about points is do we keep track of our own or do you keep track?

I do but on somethings you help. Like on the MRs you post on the thread saying "I'll be reading this." That's how you will get points. Same thing for challenges. Everything else should be self explainatoryif not just ask! (:
