All editions are valid. Out of print isn't a reason to delete books, as there can be people who have that edition and can now shelve the right edition.

You're asking for combining all editions into one work, but the titles are confusing me, do all editions have the same content?

Goodreads policy is NOT to delete editions or works just because they are out of print, just as a library would not remove them from their shelves. I manually added the new edition, and as soon as the combine server is reset, I will be able to combine all the editions into a single work.
