Terri's husband has just messaged me. Terri is in hospital after having emergency gall bladder surgery.

I know you'll join me in sending her good wishes.

Oh wow! So is she doing ok then? I certainly wish nothing but positive thoughts and wishes for her well being.

She's doing okay. But I know from experience that it is painful surgery and painful to recover from as so many abdominal muscles are cut during the surgery.

Hello from Hong Kong! I'm so sorry to hear the bad news about Terri's health. She's in my thoughts and prayers and I wish her strength and stamina in her recovery process. Margaret, thanks for keeping us posted and kindly send her my best.

I've been browsing Hong Kong's Chinese bookstores and am sad to find they are inundated with books printed in Simplified Characters (unlike Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan have always used Traditional Characters). I guess I was lucky to have found my two favorite plays (The Peony Pavilion: Mudan ting and The Peach Blossom Fan) in Traditional Characters.
