Posting a link in topic question

How do I post a link in my topic showing the book's title rather than the web address? I want to link to the books I read, but I don't want it to say www.whatever.com

Right above where you're typing there is a link that says "add book/author". From there, search for the name of the book and then click "add" next to the book you want to post. There is also an option down at the bottom of that list that gives you the option of posting the title or the book's cover.
