Does this book ever take off? I am about half way done and just not into this book at all.

No it doesn't ever take off. It is dull and not the loveable voice of Jennifer Weiner that I am accustomed to. To me nothing has been as good as her 1st novel Good In bed, it was just a cute and memorable book, but this one was predictable at every turn.
I loved this book! One of my two favorites (with In Her Shoes) of Weiner's. Could hardly put it down.
I actually really enjoyed the book. Then again everyone is allowed to have their own opinions.
i really liked it! it got a bit boring in spots but overall it was good. it was the first book of hers that i have read, so if its not that great her others must *really* be good! :)
I have definitely found her newer novels lack that something that made Good in Bed and Little Earthquakes so good to read. I still read her books, but over the years they have lost something to me
Dull? Hmm...well, it's definetly slow! It took me over a week to read this book and I usually read a book in 2-3 days! I did finish it, but was never really thrilled with picking it up to read it, I did it more for a sense of completion!
I too found this book a little boring. I have always enjoyed Jennifer Weiner's books and was excited to get this book. It usually takes me a couple of days to read a good book. This one took me a couple of months. I was a little disappointed.
My least favorite also. I had to look it up so I could remember what it was about.
So far, my least favorite of her books. It wasn't dull exactly but didn't make me want to pick it up constantly. It was easy to put down, took me two weeks to read which is unusual for me.
Loved Little Earthquakes and In Her Shoes, have not read this one yet. Waiting for Good In Bed to be at the library this summer.
I have enjoyed all of Ms Weiner's book's that I have read. I love her sense of humor. Actually I listened to this one one audio books and that certainly may make a difference.
