I wanted to add this as an end discussion because it was an overall question in a way. Does anyone have knowledge of Charlotte's role in revising and changing Emily's last version of Wuthering Heights? I have read a little of how she sought to change the reception of the novel and also statements that she changed the manuscripts some after Emily's death. I am interested in the topic of this if anyone has looked into it at all.
