Love this book. Anyway I was wondering, what does everyone think of Pippa? I've met some people who read the book who absolutely despise her, but I like her!

I never liked her
I never liked her
I wouldn't want to be her friend, but I believed her as a character and I think she played a very important role. I could see why Gemma and the other girls did want to be her friend and why she had such a lure in spite of her whininess and in spite of her creepiness toward the end.
These are my thoughts on Pippa. I'm sorry it's so long! Pippa's character was great in my opinion. She had a few faults with being consumed with her beauty. I can sympathize with her about being forced into an arranged marriage. In the end I think she did the right thing to tell her Fiancé she had seizers. It was his choice whether or not to call the wedding off. Her parents shouldn't have kept this a secret from him.
I don't understand why Felicity and Ann were so angry with Gemma in the second book. Getting the three of them back from the realms was the best she could do, they knew it was dangerous to go be in the realms but they wanted to take that chance! When Gemma did return for Pippa, she wanted to stay and ate the berries. This is my point: Gemma did the best could, and Pippa made the choice to permanently stay.
Also from the second book, when Pippa was turning into a monster she knew what she was, Gemma could tell she was bad news but Felicity didn't want to listen to her. The realms practically belong to Gemma and Felicity acts like she's a member of the Order. (If you haven't guessed yet Felicity isn't exactly my favorite character)
And finally, this is from “The Sweet Far Thing”. This is the third time Gemma thinks it's not a good idea to be with Pippa, but she gives into peer pressure and just does whatever her friends tell her to anyway. (I think that's the biggest flaw for Gemma)In this last book Pippa is so selfish and lusts for power so much that she's willing to the same thing Circe did, and sell her soul to the winter lands. She's turned herself into a monster and expects her old friends to dance and dress-up like nothing ever happened? Pippa may or may not have had control over what was happening to her but she did have control over the choice she made to stay in the first book. I believe her fate was her own fault.
That's all of my thoughts for Pippa.
I think the whole series was about making choices, good or bad. Pippa just happened to make really bad choices, maybe because she was very impulsive, and quite child-like, I suppose? Or maybe she actually a bit of evil inside her.I think that Pippa was doomed to a bad ending since the start of the novel.
