So, right now, I'm working on my "next" challenge, which is a subdivision of my "to-read" pile (the books I want to read immediately).
Also, I created a challenge for the authors I want to catch up on this year. These are the books that are sitting on my shelves by authors I've read before this year.

I joined your challenge (I think?) but my other challenges will be: science fiction published between 1990-2004 because I have a huge void, and "literature/classics/modern classics."
Also known as " Damn you, John Banville, I will actually finish one of your non-mystery books," haha.

I see you on the authors challenge! Anyway, I modded you, so I THINK/hope you can create your challenges yourself? (There should be a "create challenge" link on the bottom of the list on the top right).
But if not, let me know.

It worked! I am not sure I am willing to do the by February one-- though it would make a significant dent in both my other challenges! I suppose I don't have to try for the same number...
YAY!
Yeah, I kind of doubt I will, but it'll be something to shoot for and I think it'll make me read more than I would otherwise, even if I don't complete it?

"Eversince I am familiar with ebooks and own Kindle, I haven't exactly gone back to read paperback books. So, my challenge in 2012 is to get back to the 'traditional' root and read paperback books"
Oh, that's a good one! I was kind of thinking of doing the opposite at some point? I use my Kindle a lot, but I have a lot of books on there I haven't read and I'm not good at remembering to look on there when I want something to read.

Hi! When you're on your group homepage or any page that's part of your group, you should see your group name in the top right corner of your screen. Under that, there will be three columns with different options relating to your group. One of them is "create a challenge." Click on that and it'll give you some options for setting up a challenge.
Let me know if I can be of more help!

I think. I don't know if I 'cheat' by NOT counting the word "The" as "T" ... but I can change that entry if I find the title starting with "R" without the word "The" in front of it. Few of this title are M/M romance novels.

I have a new challenge! Arguably the biggest author from Quebec, Michel Tremblay, wrote like forty books set around the same people (his family). He just released an ordered list, so I put it in a shelf and I want to read all of them! It's really missing from my French Canadian pop culture.
By the way, my husband joined the group (Dominic - he's our only dude I think :P) and I made him a mod! :)

Yay and yay! :D
HMMM. Maybe I'll set some challenges for myself. I sort of have some in my head, but I need to translate them into something that actually makes sense to GoodReads. :)
