I'm a Love2Read Ambassador!

I am pleased to share that my local library (Greater Taree City Council Library) has asked me to be a Community Ambassador for the National Year of Reading/Love2Read campaign this year.

It sounds like a lot of fun, basically I get to officially encourage people to read, attend events and I will be helping them establish a web presence through a blog (subject to council approval).

Apparently there is even a little bit of money in the budget to invite authors to visit so if you are traveling near Taree in NSW this year or would like to - please let me know - we would love to have you!
