Oh, Cassandra isn't anorexic.... Here, I'll post a pic. http://gravityshmavity.files.wordpres...
That's what the last human looks like, according to Doctor Who.

Sorry I wasn't on guys... I sort of got a brace and I have to get used to it, us I have a segment exam today, so yeah.
Kyle ( Rebel Leader) wrote: "Whoa! I wish I'd watched Doctor Who from the beginning. Haven't seen the newer version, but I loved the old show, Dr. Who."You SHOULD watch the newer ones. They're fantastic and quite often hilarious too. You can get all of the episodes from the 9th Doctor onwards online, I could give you a link if you want.
The Tenth Doctor is the best. :D
He is forever & always my Doctor. Some people like Eleven better, or Nine better, but nope, not me. TEN. :)
Kyle ( Rebel Leader) wrote: "Thanks for the offer, Vyanni. I'm not much of a t.v. watcher and really don't have the time to invest in Dr.Who."
Pity. It's also on Netflix, if you ever want to watch it. They have all the current seasons, I think. It's an awesome tv show. My fav by far.

Yep, all the seasons, just not the two most recent Christmas specials.
I have something to say. Listen up all you fat people. Listen up all you 'pretty' people. Listen up freaks and geeks. It matters little what you look like, because no has ever fallen in love with someone for being attractive. They may only give you a shot because your attractive but its your minds and heart that people fall in love with. Nothing More and Nothing Less.
According to research, physical appearance does play a part in attraction to someone. However ultimately its mostly based off of natural instincts.
What does this say about people only attracted by appearance and appearance alone? Guess they're really in touch with their animal-side huh.
Apparently scent plays a strong part in it also.
But natural scent.
Not perfume. (Not BO either.)
I have a question... Does anyone actually think that one day everyone will be fine with people being fat, there wont any discrimination, or judgement or bullying? I'd love to know when that day is going to come, i'll be at home jumping up and Down, possibly celebrating with a large amount of boose. But what if it gets worse? what if more and more people become like the others who think fat is ugly... ? then what, more and more people will be bullied into loosing weight, possibly more suicides... ? More people dying just because of one persons decision that Fat is not beautiful... Well that's just pathetic.
Emm wrote: "I have a question... Does anyone actually think that one day everyone will be fine with people being fat, there wont any discrimination, or judgement or bullying? I'd love to know when that day is ..."I agree!
... I hope that doesn't happen... but when in comes to phiscally attractive I have no say... the sexiest thing on a woman is her mind and her heart.
More and more people should be changing people's minds about uglyness... This thing has been dated from like hundreds of years ago.. and just progressed.
A long, long time ago, bigger people were liked more than tiny people. It meant you were well off, and people liked that.Just a tiny piece of information for ya that you probably already knew.
Yeah, I'm useless. :P
Why couldn't we go back to them times... i mean i know that they tried to stop selling big clothes at one point... and they still do.. alot of shops only go up to a size 14.. Sometimes i think it's to do with the country... shallow people in britain... cause i honestly have never seen someone who is decent say i like big girls...
and i've talked to loads and loads of american men who think it's beautiful... maybe i should just move countries..

As an American, really things aren't any better over here.... I think people in general are the problem

^ That Spectacular Face Of Amazing Awesomeness.
According to britain more and more people are becoming bigger.. so what will happen if everyone starts to get bigger and the people who are against it, start to bully more.. like i said before... it will only get worse.
Hmmm..... I think England is actually bad about it, because it's unshakable to be obese or whatever. Like, nealy e Euronext is slow.
I might be dating a Bi guy... Just aaying
I might be dating a Bi guy... Just aaying
England is just pure evil sometimes... i mean we put up with alot of crap but still... people here can be horrible...
Englands not that bad...England isnt a bad place, its just a selection of people that make it appear bad.
i think it depends on the place.. some places are more dangerous than others... and the people of course.. we get so much death in this country, like the other day, on the news, a 40 year old man killed this 4 year old boy... for no reason..

OOOOORRRRR!
If there are more "fat" people, then fat will become the new pretty and the skinny people will be broken in half by a hug. I mean, if the right person hugs me, I could easily be snapped like a twig. :P

Pretty much, if Fat becomes like fashionable it would literally change everything... all the skinny kids will just start eating.

And isn't it better to eat than to starve yourself...
And isn't it better to eat than to starve yourself...
But once you've starved yourself, it's really hard to eat much of anything.Your stomach has shrunk too much and it takes time to make it big again.
O.O Jeeze, people. Just because people are skinny doesn't mean they starve themselves. *is offended* Not all skinny people are stupid enough to starve themselves.... Some people just are skinny naturally.
Actually, my mom made an interesting point the other day. She was saying that fat used to be a sign of wealth. If you had wealth you'd have enough food to be able to gain so much weight. But now it's the other way around. You're more likely to gain weight if you're poor because the food nowadays is total crap with little nutritional value and too much sugar and fat. If you have the money, you'd be more likely to get the things of higher quality and nutrition content.
I found that kinda interesting. It makes complete sense at a basic level. Of course, at the same time, everyone has different bodies and some tend to be on the heavier side anyway.
To me, it also comes across as this: Economy has a lot to do with what is considered a fashionable weight. And the economy is in the dumps now. Which makes me wonder, if the economy was doing decent... where would the attractive sought-after weight be?
I mean, I already see hope for the dismal view of fat=unattractive. I'm honestly seeing it stray away from stick thin being what is called "attractive". People are being more open and comfortable about weight. Individuality is being played up. If anything, people who are too thin are as discriminated, if not more discriminated, as those who are overweight. Even in the media things are shifting. People want to see people like them, not those seen as what could be taken as perfect by others. They want some achievable and realistic view of beauty....
Am I making any sense? I feel like I'm rambling on and on with no real point....

Very true Lynx, back in the day being overweight was, as you say, a privilege that applied only to the monied individuals, one reason why beggars and mercenaries were lean and wiry and merchants sported fuller figures, but now, especially with the amount of relatively cheap, highly-processed food, fat doesn't really indicate prosperity anymore, although the case can be made that food still costs more relatively than what it used to, but add to that, the fact that incomes have also increased, after all it would seem the basic idea is that one's income should be sufficient to enable one to lead a liveable life, and it's only when you look at the accessories and add ons, where working from pay-check to pay-check, which is the root of the world's economic woes, comes into play. Ironically, the food that has less done to it costs more, how that works is beyond me. Surely non-processed foods should be more affordable given less is spent preparing it, and preparation cost and manpower cost all goes in to the final price. I guess if something is mass produced it justifies a lower price, whereas if it's more exclusive then you tend to expect exorbitant prices. Also, as you mention, keeping fit has become something of an expense, gym memberships aren't cheap, and there are loads of add ons there as well, and if you want to take up a sport you need to pay for all the paraphernalia and accoutrements that come with it. Fat is cheap and thin is posh:p
This topic is kinda weird, because There is no size/definition of attractive.
It's people's own prefrences of what they like
And that in essence is the definition of attractive, it's subjective, and everyone seems to have their own view on what is attractive or desirable in themselves of others. You might say this thread is trying to get to grips with an acceptable idea of what everyone can consider attractive.
