You can fill in as you go or put in the ones you plan to read and then mark them off as read after. Whichever you like. Just make it clear either way that they've been read. (most people mark date completed or put a line through it to cross it off)

I think it might be the first book in the series, but I think that you can also choose to go on with the other books in the series.

I'm not exactly sure though.

Oh! Question! Me! Me! What if you accidentally read a book in the series that wasn't the first book, because you didn't realize it was a series until you read it?

Do you mean for the "New to You Series" challenge? If so I would imagine it needs to be first book in the series because that's the only time it's going to be a "new to you" series.

@Julie, If you accidently read another book in the series first I would think it still counts in the "new to you series" because that's when the series was new for you.

I get that yea but what if the first book in the series just doesn't appeal to you? Because some of the new series I've found the first book doesn't sound all that appealing but other books in the series does...

Also... does anyone know if we can change our goals if we meet our current goals and there's still a lot of time left?

LOL, oh, I get it. I would think that whatever book is the first one that you read in the series can count.

And I'm pretty sure Shera said you can change levels if you meet your goals.

Cool...I'm not sure I'm actually going to take the plunge with that series - maybe once I've finished all the others I started. Sigh. After all, I only have about eight gazillion going at one time. =D

This is my first attempt at challenges, but I'm an avid reader so I'm going to try all of them:

I'm not crazy, though, so I'm going with Beginner level, lol. From reading through the posts it appears that the Beginner level is 5 new authors and 5 new series. I may be able to move past that, but wanted to see how it went before I became too ambitious, especially since I'm planning to do the others as well.

I love the genre, but I'm fairly new to it so I'll probably be trolling others' lists to come up with names and titles since I've really only read a few authors. If you have any that you think of "must reads" feel free to pass the info along.

One question -- is there a word or page number limit to count? I've found that something's I've downloaded have turned out to be shorter than I expected, really no more than a story or novella at times.

One other question -- I think I saw that books can count for more than one list. Is that correct? As I'm planning it I think I can use the new lists to help fill out the others, but I want to make sure that this isn't cheating. :)

Yes abook can count for more then one challenge, as long as it fits.

To the other question someone asked, I'll update the sign up list ever Friday!

Yes you can change your level of challenge at any time, just make sure you keep you're original post updated, and then let me know.
