"I don't see how he'd be able to help us," Gwen shivered just thinking about him. "It's better if we don't talk to him, trust me Jer."

"I need help Gwen."Jeremy admitted."and he could be my way out."
Gwen sighed. "fine." She got out her phone and handed it to him. "he's in my contacts."
Gwen sighed, moving away from him. She didn't want to hear his voice. Leo answered the phone. "Why hello love. To what do I owe this pleasure?"
"Leo I need your help."Jeremy said ignoring his tone. He looked at Gwen helplessly.
Leo laughed. "Really now? Are you missing your powers?"
Jeremy grit his teeth."I have some gang trouble and you deal so well with death."
"Why in the world would I want to help you?" Leo chuckled.
"I did give you a lot of power, more than you deserve."he said.
"More than I deserve?" Leo scoffed. "I could still control darling Gwen if I wanted to right now. Come on, Jeremy. What's in this for me?"
"what else can I give you?"Jeremy said angrily.
Leo laughed. "Well that is the question, now isn't it? I'm sure you can come up with soemtihng. Until then..." he went to hang up the phone.
"wait!"Jeremy said."they left a body and i just.. I can't go to the police.."he said
"So you're calling in a favor, then?"
"yes and sadly you are my last hope."he said.
"Yes, very sad. Alright. I'll come over to your house."Gwen sighed in relief when they hung up. "So what'd he say?" she asked.
"he's coming to help.. And I know you don't like him so that's why I want you to go back to the hotel suite."Jeremy said.
Gwen sturggled for a minute. "Jer, I don't want to leave you here alone... this is our house. It's okay. I can handle seeing him again." I hope.
"fine.."Jeremy said, no point arguing."f it gets bad you can go to the car."
Gwen nodded. "Okay," she sighed, hugging him, hoping this would all be over soon. Leo pulled up at the house.
Jeremy kissed her once before welcome Leo."you came."
Leo nodded. "I did," he said, his gaze traveling to Gwen, making her shiver. He was (pleasantly) surprised that she was there. "So, you say you have a body that needs taken care of?"
((grr leo))Jeremy stepped in front of Gwen."yeah inside."he said gesturing to the door a jar so you could just see the corpse.
Leo stepped inside the house and whistled. "Someone must really hate you, boy. What'd you do?" he chuckeld, amused.
"not pay them.."Jeremy muttered."can you be quick."
Leo shrugged and snapped his fingers. The body went up in flames, and then disappeared. "There. That all you need?"
"yes thanks Leo."Jeremy said trying to be pleasant.
Leo laughed and walked over. "Jeremy, why so rude?" he teased, peering behind him where Gwen was still standing.
"she's off limits."jermey said staring him straight in the face
Gwen was perfectly happy to stay behind Jeremy, clutching the back of his shirt with her eyes closed. Leo just winked at Jeremy and said, "Remember, you owe me a favor. Whatever I want, whenever I ask, otherwise I just might ignore that off-limits rule."
"yeah I owe you, she's not me so dont even think about it Leo."Jeremy said coldly, putting an arm around her.
Leo nodded, but he knew he wouldn't heed Jeremy's warning. He got back in his car and drove away, and Gwen relaxed. "Why did they do this if you're so close to paying them back?" she whispered.
He sunk down onto the porch."you okay?" he asked pulling her into his lap.
Gwen swallowed. "Sure, yeah," she nodded, but her hands were shaking.
"I'm sorry. but I had no choice."he said quietly.
"I know," Gwen nodded, swallowing. "It's not just him. It's the b-body and all the blood and... did you read what thehy wrote on the wall?" she pressed her mouth into his shoulder to muffle a whimper.
"I know..I know."he said hugging her closely to his chest."and I'm going to fix it all alright, nothing will happen to you I promise."he said trying to convince himself.
Gwen nodded. "I'm not worried," she said, hugging him tightly. "I trust you." But she really was worried for him... these people weren't afraid to get violent... or to kill people. What if they killed-don't even think about it.
Jeremy kissed the top of her head."shall we go inside now?"he asked looking around, the sun was coming down and a cold breeze blew by.
Gwen shook her head. "All the blood is still there," she said, shivering, only partially from the cold. "We could just... go back to the hotel." She didn't want to stay in the house, knowing that someone had broken in and murdered someone right there in the living room. "Wasn't that... thing going to happen soon?"
((I think it'd be cool if sometime, we went back to the wayyyy begining and kind of re-did their relationship, because it didn't really build much. Wasn't it like, the other girl left, and then he got with Gwen, and they were suddenly madly in love and then she died and all that stuff?))
((hmmmmm.... I see that, like some time warp thingy?))Jeremy nodded."okay."he said leading her back to the car, his face grim.
((Yeah, just kind of... redoing the begining part. I dunno. Thought it might be fun, plus it mightgive us new ideas))Gwen got in the car, chewing on her fingernail. "Why did they do that?" she asked again, still shocked.
((yeah okay...so should they like fall through some rabbit hole or something?))"its a warning. I owe them big.."Jeremy admitted/
((Sure, that works.))Gwen squeezed his hand. "But we'll be okay after tonight," she said, not sounding very convinced.
((lol really?))Jeremy nodded. He started the car and drove into this tunnel which wasn't really a tunnel and presto they were falling through time.
((Yup. xD))Gwen landed in the library with a quiet 'oof.' There was a moment of confusion, but then the memory of everything that had just happened cleared, and all that was left was how she'd been writing a poem.
Jeremy walked inside, he saw Gwen and slipped in the seat next to her."hey, you're that girl from the lake right? how's the uh writing?"
Gwen stopped writing, sighed ,and set her pencil down. She closed her journal so he couldn't see and looked up, giving him the most inddifferent, cold look she could muster up. "Why are you talking to me?" she droned.
