Nwaocha Ogechukwu | 3 comments Nwaocha The Great Mind’s book The Devil: What Does He Look Like? is an academic work that takes an unbiased look at the various appearances of satanic figures in different cultures through history, religion, and art. Although he focuses on Christianity and Judaism, Friday includes ancient mythologies, Islam, and Hinduism. The book references multiple encyclopedias, authors (like John Milton and... William Blake), and theologians (like Justin the Martyr and Thomas Aquinas) as well as primary texts like the Bible and the Quran. Due to the nature and style of the book, it will appeal to theologians, apologists, Bible professors, and university Bible students.

Patricia Mason | 10 comments I'm tempted to think, based on recent news, that he looks like a politician.

Stuart Edmond | 33 comments I would have thought he'd be a cross between a politician, merchant banker and Rupert Murdoch

Gus (gusgallows) | 7 comments If I had a picture of my ex-wife, I could show you exactly what the devil looks like. :P

Karina Kantas The devil is everyone's nightmare. What does your nightmare look like?
It feeds off your worst fears. It can take shape of anything, anyone.

Well, you did ask? lol

Lana Bradstream | 145 comments I would think the devil is beautiful. After all, Lucifer was beautiful. I do not think he would lose it despite what he did. I would also think he would prefer to retain that look because it would be easier for people to willingly follow and worship a beautiful being than a hideous goat demon.

Steph Bennion (stephbennion) | 184 comments I agree with Lana. I know people slate her performance in the movie, but I loved Liz Hurley in Bedazzled! If you believe that the devil is out to capture human souls, looking repulsive is not going to be much of a business asset.

P.I. (thewordslinger) | 124 comments For those who have not read John Milton, in Christianity, Lucifer was the Angel of Light, the most beautiful of all the angels; his descent into snake was after his fall and the temptation of Adam and Eve. Evil can take many forms including the beautiful and that is the most terrifying of all.

Jennifer Rainey (jennifer_rainey) | 65 comments I've written The Devil/Lucifer as a character before. I always sort of pictured him in his human form looking like Quentin Tarantino in a nice suit.

... Is that weird?

I think Quentin Tarantino is a good start, but I would make him more urbane and less frenetic.

Lana Bradstream | 145 comments I kinda figure the devil to look like Colin Farrell.

Cynan Jones (cynanjones) | 34 comments Or, he could just be a 'presence' - possibly embodied in this -

FREE for the rest of the day on Kindle. And Devilish.

The Fart

That would lessen the blow to being sent down to Hell... Anyway, I would join everyone else in plugging my book about the devil but I haven't got one, so I'll plug this one instead: Fisher of Devils. Apparantly it's very funny.

Certainly. I can imagine Satan would be able to keep his hands still while talking for more than 2.5 seconds.

Although, I'm liking Colin Farrell now... LOL!

Lana Bradstream | 145 comments I suppose I will throw my plug in as well! LOL!! The devil does not make a formal appearance in this book. He sends a minion.
