Tell us what you think of the opening book to the Hunger Games trilogy. Try to keep this topic about the first book, and not talk too much about the other two in the trilogy.

I remember when I first heard of the book I thought it was about an eating disease. I swear. And then I read the inside flap and I was like "...what?" it seemed interesting so I decided to read it. It was definitely one of the rougher books I've read, but I loved it so much. The characters were my favorite part, so unique and different.

It was recommended to me by a friend. The hype had been circling around my school, so I decided to give it a try, and I LOVED it.

I know! I really wanna see it, but then again I'm a little afraid to because it's gonna mess up everything I've imagined in my head. Like Peeta. I dunno, but I always imagined him looking a little like Harold in Harold and the Purple Crayon (it's a kids' books, I don't know if you've heard of it). It's silly, I know. And Gale- I imagined him with super curly brown hair. And Katniss looks about right, but there's just something in her face that doesn't seem right for me, I don't know what it is though.

I think they're pretty good. Not as I imagined them, but I am still very pleased with their acting abilities. I've watched a movie that(literally) every single leading cast member was in. I adore Stanley Tucci and can't wait to see him. Woody Harrelson either. And it goes without saying that I'm dying to see the "main" trio. I consider that Katniss/Peeta/Haymitch, but a lot of people have begun to replace Haymitch with Gale.
I also want to see the arena scenes. A lot of the movie will be from Katniss' point of view- it's going to be INCREDIBLE.

I'm looking forward to see how the movie portrays the Capitol. I've seen a few glimpses of it in the trailers and it's looking pretty spectacular.

Definitely. The people look odd as well, the few ones I've seen.

I haven't actually seen that many people in the trailers. I mean, I have, but not Capitol people. Oh, except for Effie Trinket. I think.

Her happy little demeanor and strange makeup. That combined in District 12 made her seem... off.

Well I watch a lot of mental/scary movies. She just reminded me of a few not-so-kind people. just an odd association thing. I've got a weird mind.
