Mary I didn't mind that Katsa and Po weren't in Fire because... I read Fire before I read Graceling (I know shameful). A year after that I came across Graceling not realizing it was in the same series as Fire until I actually started reading. And I am so happy that I read it. I adored everything about it (except the ending) and fell head over heels for Katsa and Po. I loved it so much more than Fire. Until a couple of days ago. I re-read both Fire and Graceling and came to the conclusion that really I like Fire more than Graceling. The characters have more depth and the plot line is just a bit more entertaining and interesting to read about in Fire. All in all, I'm happy that Katsa and Po weren't included in Fire (if that would have been even possible due to the fact that the book was set years before they were even born) because it was a good break from them.

Rin I liked Brigan a lot!
But Graceling is still better in my opinion... Although, Fire over Katsa xD

I'm reading Bitterblue right now *rubs hand together*

Michael Kpade There was something abt Graceling that made it so entertainingly catchy. its characters were so dangerously addictive I mean its no surprise everyone was at least just a little bummed when Kasta and Po missed Fire. I liked Po's inhuman humanity because it felt so real and yet so unreal at the same time. I can understand how people may relate to fire better than Katsa. Fire has this very human aspect to her, Her character development story feels so humanly real that i begin to actually become her sometimes. Kasta was less humane and for good measurre.. I enjoyed the order of the trilogy . i mean dont u find it amusing that we kill leck in book one only to realise another secret world that connects him specifically to it with stories, problems and dangers of their own...the timing couldnt have been more perfect. Fire and Brigan was a union that was too obvious for my liking ...i guess the fact that his character began with a mask of hatred is what gave it away in my opinion..it couldnt have been mpre obvious..and so i guess that relationship kinda bored me since it was telling a secret i already knew ...i guess that is y katsa and Po's relationship was much more intoxicating in my opinion...it was clear the effect they had on each other and where it was headed yet it was so unclear at the same time. Anyway Cashore has a way of making the impossible possible, her characters inspire some sort of self pride, self worth some burning desire within its readers. I fell in love with Graceling trilogy and i hope yall do too.
