I'm just curious. Does anyone like Rose and Christian together as a couple?

I'm not trying to start ship wars or anything I was just wondering if there were some readers who liked other couples together besides Dimitri/Rose and Adrian/Rose Christian/Lissa. This isn't just a Rose/Christian question more like what non-canon couples do you like?

This isn't just ..."Oooh. Intriguing possibility, lol. Never ever thought of it that way because Mead's writing makes it clear Christian and Lissa are meant for each other. However, with the sarcasm and cynical natures, the pair really seems like a great fit. Still, I think Rose needs someone who would understand her... Like Dimitri. Christian, too, needs someone who understands him, which is Lissa. She's his salvation, his guidance, just like how Dimitri is for Rose, and at times, Rose is for Adrian.. :)
No, I don't think they would be a good match, cause she is someone who is desperate for action, who jumps ahead, and he is more.. I don't know.. I don't see them together.. =)
Yeah Rose and Christian just wouldn't go well together, they are just too much alike.
I think they make a great team, some of my favourite scenes from the series was when Rose and Christian were fighting the strigoi together but I cannot picture them together in a romantic or intimate way, their personalities would clash too much and they'd more likely kill each other than hold each other's hand.
LOL, no!! I think they are best as friends. But if they did get together they would have a love-hate relationship.

I don't think so, Rose needs someone to balance her out but that also shares the same passion she does and I think that Dimitri is perfect for her.
I love Rose and Christian as friends, their scenes together are awesome XD But I don't think they would work as a couple :)A non-canon couple that I like is Eddie/Mia... I don't know why, but i wanted to see them together, I think they would have been cute :)
I just wanted to say thanks guys for being nice about my curiousity. I just wanted to know if some people liked people who didnt have a chance at being together like on tv :)

Not at all. They wouldn't last. They are too much alike. I think they got themselves just the fitting other halves!
well...in some ways i think they would make a good couple. then there are times when i know they Sould Not be together. I ve read fanfic's of them being together and those were pretty good. but i think christian is better with lissa. i also thought either Mia/Ediie combo or Mia/Adrian. Despit the age difference i think theyd be good together. Adrian obviously needs taking care of and Mia is a strong girl. I think she'd be good for him....
I think Rose and Christian are very alike, like very good friends, but not a couple. Rose belong to Dimitri, and Christian belongs to Lissa. But, I have always thought that Mia and Eddie should be together.
They would be nice together, but because Lissa and Christian are together, and Dimitri and Rose are together, it's kinda awkward to imagine. Though when Rose had to be (view spoiler). Plus, theyre both sarcastic and jokey...so yeah I get where youre coming from :)

Not really. I think they work better as friends and maybe in a sister-brother relationship but not in a romantic way. Their interactions sure are mostly fun, but I think what got them together in the first place was their mutual love for Lissa.
And the fact that he should be all MINE.
HECK YES.I'm usually the one who cheers for the pairs that the author clearly wants to be together, but there's just something about Rose/Christian that makes me smile. At first, I thought that Dimitri and Rose would be a cute couple, but then, when we were introduced to Christian, I was all for them being together. It never happened though... You could say that they're my OTP for vampire academy.
Dimitri's cool, but Christian is always like "I want to learn to fight so I can work with Dhampirs instead of hiding behind them." I just feel like Rose would admire that passion and fire.
Truth be told, I never really saw Rose/Dimitri going anywhere, but that's just me.

It was always a tempting idea, I must admit there was some times I got a bit jealous about Lissa in the sense that he paid her more attention to Lissa than Rose. It´s kind of dumb because that´s the idea but it happened once in a while. Christian and Rose just had chemistry especially in Frostbite.
Well they are cute together but they wont make a good couple ..... Both of them are aggressive and therefore i feel that they wont last long!
I agree with the brother/sister relationship. That's probably what Mead was going for too. Rose doesn't have anyone to fit that description in her life and there has to be some strong pull to Christian for her to be tolerant of Lissa's attraction to him. Rose needs to have an acceptance yet slight annoyance of the person Lissa chooses to be with. Nobody can annoy you more than a sibling. Yet Rose trusts him emphatically with Lissa's safety and her heart.

I don't think there horrible for each other, but Lissa has a very strong attraction to Christian, and Rose is just looking out for her because he has the deadly vampire gene, but Lissa takes it the wrong way. And Lissa did get what she wanted at the end of the book when Rose finds Christian is harmless

No, they wouldn't match too well. And Eddie/Mia or Adrian/Mia wouldn't be ok because of the Bloodlines events. They're way better. Whoever read it knows. (no spoilers) But Mia should be with someone. She deserves it. She'd be great with Mason, she even mentioned he's cute and they got along, but... I also shipped Eddie and Mia before I read Bloodlines. I think Camille Conta and Aaron would be perfect for eachother.
No, they wouldn't match too well since they have similar qualities about them, but I could imagine them as brother and sister, or best friends thought.
