Nicole (chaitea2) | 88 comments Apologies. Just double-checked. I meant The Magicians. THAT was the worst book I have ever read. I've heard The Magician King is much better but can't bring myself to read it.

Chris Haught (haughtc) | 889 comments I gave 'em both 4-stars. Excellent stuff.

Stan (lendondain) | 168 comments The Magicians is fantastic. The Magician King is less so.

message 55: by Dawn (new)

Dawn (breakofdawn) | 462 comments I'm completely opposite. The Magicians is great... The Magician King is even better.

Chris Haught (haughtc) | 889 comments And as a Libra, I'll balance it by saying that I liked them equally.

colleen the convivial curmudgeon (blackrose13) | 2722 comments As a Scorpio I'll say they both sucked!

(Though as I've never read the second, I'm half joking... )

Stan (lendondain) | 168 comments Colleen, who'd have guessed we're both Scorpios?

So these realms would most resemble:

a) middle school
b) a cubicle farm at a call center
c) the paranormal romance shelves in a Borders
d) none of the above

?

Agree with Stan. the first book is great. The second, meh.

Dawn (breakofdawn) | 462 comments I just loved the second book. It was so funny. The Teletubbies lines killed me. I have an immature sense of humor sometimes ;)

Robert (the_one) | 31 comments Who'd have guessed you both have an eery sense of humor? I kid, but seriously, chill. In all seriousness, I seriously take all of your opinions somewhat seriously in all seriousness.
