Diane Kruger Will Be The Seeker!It has just been announced through Deadline that Diane Kruger will be The Seeker in The Host. The Seeker ”is charged with overseeing the conversion of a young rebel soldier (Ronan) whose consciousness has been infiltrated by Wanderer, a soul that has taken control of bodies and minds but who is daunted by the young human’s spirit, and obsessed with the memories of her boyfriend and her brother, and sets out to track them down. The Seeker pursues her, knowing that the conversion of the rebel will lead to the discovery and eradication of the rebel movement.”
Diane Kruger was born July 15, 1976 and is of German descent. Her breakout role in the US was as Helen of Troy in Troy along Orlando Bloom, Brad Pitt, and Eric Bana. She was most recently seen in Unknown with Liam Neeson. She is currently in a relationship with Joshua Jackson.
What does everyone think about Diane Kruger playing The Seeker? We are coming up on filming beginning in less than a month, so I expect more casting news soon. We still have a few characters left to complete the cast.

They'll probably color her hair or something for the part :P But I like her. She'll do great.

actually one of the most interesting concepts I have read for a book in a loooong time. I'm so dang excited for the sequel!!!!
If it ever comes... But Meyer said she's going back to writing in... I don't remember. Somewhere in the spring.
