Interpersonal Relationships in Spire

I think there are some really interesting relationships between the different characters in the book and I noticed a consistent theme of characters having both a tight bond and a huge disconnect from each other - both at the same time. A push and pull type thing. I thought it was interesting to see how each of those relationships played out throughout the story and observe how the characters interacted with each other. I don't want to give anything away to those of you still reading the book which is why I'm being exceptionally vague but we should talk more about these when all of you are done reading the book.
