Ellie (ellieblossom) | 1 comments Hi there!
My name is Ellie and I am a mom from the UK - I love Twilight and am having a REALLY hard time finding books to rival them - I so love Stephenie Meyer's style of writing. I have been most enjoying Young Adult fiction but it seems to be abit hit and miss (I love Maggie Stiefvater & Kristen Cashore but can't stand Alyson Noel or LJ Smith)

I am hoping this forum will help! Here's hoping! xoxo

Lindis Russell (lindyloudawn) | 5 comments Hi Ellie, I'm Lindis from Nebraska, USA, and I think we might have similar reading styles. I too love the Young Adult series, along with anything paranormal/supernatural. Here are a few series that I have read. If you'd like to check them out.
"The House of Night" - Vampires, first book is called 'Marked', by P.C. and Kristen Cast
"Hush Hush" series - first book titled the same, Angels, by Becca Fitzpatric. Who I am proud to say is from my hometown! : )
"Fallen" series - first book titled the same, Angels by Lauren Kate
"Sweep" series - the first book is called 'Book of Shadows' but if you buy books, these have been republished in Volumes, I suggest that. There are 15 books in all and the volumes have three books each in them. (plus the volume covers are prettier) Witches, with a bit of Wicca.
But then if you just love all things vampire, like me, here are a few adult series.
"The Sookie Stackhouse Novels" where HBO's True Blood is based from, the first one is 'Dead Until Dark' by Charlaine Harris
And then, there is the "Black Dagger Brotherhood" series. This one, is a bit graphic, (mmmm, sexy!)romance novelish, but she is a brilliant writer and I just love these books!!!! The first one is called 'Dark Lover' by J.R. Ward
Have you read "The Host" by Stephenie Meyer? It too is very good, and she is planning on making it into a series with two more books planned. It's about aliens, I usually don't care for alien type books, but since I loved Twilight, I gave it a chance and I loved it. I will warn you that it's slow starting, the first few chapters are a bit hard to get through, but keep reading, it will be worth it! : )

Krystal (krystal_f) | 1609 comments Hey, I know I'm seeing this super late, but I do hope that you've found some books that you like as much as Twilight :)

Finding books that I loved as much as Twiight was a huge problem for me as well once I finished the series, and honestly I still havent found any that I like. Other than Twilight I don't really like the paranormal genre, so I've just moved on from that :(

I do LOVE Sophie Kinsella books, Francine Rivers, and Sarah Addison Allen!

Abi (goodreadscommornin) | 3 comments Hi! I'm Lyric and I'm new to goodreads, but I haven't found anything close to rivaling Twilight since I read it.
