i have this feeling that there is something up with magnus bane. i feel as if the whole story is going to end with him or that he has a major role in both series that we didn't realize before. what do you guys think? should we be suspicious of this warlock???????
i don't mean is he BAD guy, i'm just trying to say do you huys think that he could have a bigger role in the ending than we thought? that there is something about him that cassie hasn't told us yet that we are yet to discover that will like change things dramatically?

He's a warlock that lived forever and is an relationship with a shadowhunter. I hope he isn't cause that will make me cry. But he's like the bridge between both series I feel that he will have a major part in connecting everything but no badness from Magnus.
I don't think Magnus is going to be a bad guy. He's clearly got a bigger role in TID though (probably because he was such a popular character). I think he'll be important in this series still, but not bad.
Nope, Magnus is one of my favorite characters in both series. I'm not suspicious of him at all. There's usually a reason that he helps u if he's not involved with you, but he is very helpful. =) I absolutely love him.
Magnus cannot be evil, I mean if he was evil in I.D. then Cassie would need to do a lot of things to make sure that there are no plot holes. If he does become evil then wouldn't his sins be carried towards M.I. - I mean they are the characters ancestors from I.M. for crying out loud.
Magnus has a massive parts in the books Cassandra Clare has been slowly and secretly hinting at that through out her teasers and q&as
I don't think he is bad but I would like to find out who his father is.
magnus is a major character. hes like the key from connecting TMI and ID series. i think he does have a big role. and he is so a good guy!
Wow, I have never thought of that before, and I hope that is true in a way! Because I just love Magnus Bane, he is just awesome!
I'm curios about a comment made by Magnus towards the end of Clockwork Prince. When he has the Demon Mabras trapped and Will is questioning him and the Demon is being evasive, Magnus makes the comment of something to the effect of not upsetting his father or about him speaking to his father. Well, his father is a demon, does this mean that he has some kind of relationship with his demon father? If so, what kind?

hmmmm i had thought of that too. its weird. it could possibly be just an empty threat but maybe he could be keeping contact with his father. who knows

I haven't thought much about Magnus but I love him. He's brilliant, so I would love if he ended up having a way bigger role than we thought :D
