Yon lang.

Guys, can I get your numbers? K.D.? Just in case we get lost... 1PM ang call time, right?

JL: Ok.
Rollie: According to Jzhun, dapat andoon ka sa Virlanie. Yon ang entitlement mo sa pin.

thanks K.D., appreciate it very much!

sorry i can't make it tonight. i thought of meeting you early sa Sat to catch up sa mapag-uusapan nyo tonight kaso hindi din ako pwede.
my babysitter quit early this week, kaya super tight ang time ko for the moment. :(

Mariel: The details are here. Please read the thread. Or I will do the updated lists maybe tomorrow after the committee heads' meeting tonight.
Maria: That's okay. I think Jzhun is willing to emcee by himself.
Honestly, I don't think it is hard to do.

Emir: I'm tokinebout Andre Gide.

It's not that it will be hard to do for me. un nga lang, i am not prepared so better kung iba nlng.

2 TFG Members + 3 Virlanie Kids = 10 breakaway groups
Logic for Pairing: "Sun and Moon" --> one reads YA, the other Literary; one is young, one is older; one is somewhat intro, the other somewhat extro; one is outgoing, one is reserved; one is vocal, the other timid; ...
Veronica & Po
Josephine & Angus
Nicole & K.D.
Mariel & Jzhun
Ranee & Rowell
Maria & Patrick
Cary & Aries
Kikay & JL
Ruby & Charles
Sheryl & Ayban
Ariel & Aaron
Rollie will cover for whoever will be late for the breakaway sessions. Most likely, for Sheryl.
The idea: you have a book with you and you will talk about it to the 3 Virlanie kids. You tell them how it inspired you as a young person. You may want to tell them what is it all about (without much spoilers) and maybe some anecdotes related to it.
The objective: influence them to become readers like us. So the book should have a very positive inspiring message to them. Remember they were street children and they need inspiration and courage to face the life challenges when they finally leave that home.
The requests: handle the discussion well. Baka doon pa kayo mag-away o magtalo about your respective books. huwag mag-kontrahan. let the other person talk. show interest to the lives (their life stories, their hobbies, etc) of the teenagers. let them talk too and listen to them. baka naman kayo na lang ng kayo har har. but try to stay focused on your books and the joy of reading. ask what books they've read and what they thought about those. ask about their favorite author even if that is a textbook author. textbooks are books too. last but not the least, invite them to join goodreads.

Dadaanan ka ba namin bukas?
Patrick and Rowell, Si Ranee and Po are riding with me, plus Angus, kung sakali. Mas maluwag kay JL na kotse. I already told him about the two of you last night. Please see JL's Message #530 for meet-up details and PM him na lang.

who would know if maluwag ang parking sa Virlanie? or sakto lang?

For those who did not print that kind of shirt or if that shirt is in the weekend laundry, please wear comfortable clothes, preferably jeans and shirt. Huwag tayong magsuot ng gaudy and flashy clothes accessories.

ooops. yeah missed that. LOL thanks for reminding me, Charles!
