Mani | 6 comments I am reading Quiet by Susan Cain. It's manna for the introverts in a world currently tuned for extroverts. One cannot but relate to the aspects of life an introvert goes through in today's world. Highly relevant, with enough power to evoke epiphanies in every paragraph!!! Be ready for some goose flesh moments - "it's me she's talking about" moments to be specific!!

If you like such books, please read Nassim Taleb's book. They are amazing. The best on I liked is "The Black Swan", though "Fooled by Randomness" is great too.

An amazing book, with simple language but many layers ... I am currently finished reading his "The Buried Giant" - a totally different approach of his and I liked it too. It has the potential to become iconic after few decades, as nostalgic trip.

Raveesh Babu | 2 comments Hello. I have been reading Paul Krugman's Peddling Prosperity. Now, those who have read this, know what this is about - A period in American Economy where the Conservatives took centre stage and their policies not really helping US to come out of slowdown. Is there a book which talks on Indian Economy on similar lines? More importantly, is there one written by someone who wasn't involved but wrote it as objectively as he can?
