Discovered an eBook holiday release I somehow missed
which is about Elena, etc. listened to
in audio.Working on
and my pnr escape book
I've just finished
and liked it more than I thought I would. I really wanted to start the next one
so I did, even though I need to read the ones from the library first. These include
and have to be back very soon :/Annnd I started listening to
today which I'm liking. I tried to read the book a while ago but stopped so this is working much better! (On a different but slightly related note I've also started watching all the Buffy series since I watched some of them when it was on TV but not every episode - I was only like 10 at the time)
Lol, yeeaaahhh...In my defence though I haven't actually started the ones from the library yet! Although then again, I didn't mention any of my already "currently reading" books
. Oops ;)
Sure....I had
in my ''currently reading'' shelf for months because I would only listen to the audiobook with my hubby (we both wanted to see how much the tv series compared). We have started the second book at the beginning of January...I just hope we can finish it before the tv series starts back again.
I finished
. It was okay, but really only a three star read for me. But I like the humorous nature of it enough to check out others in the series. But first, I started
. Chase's book, Finally!!

Amy or "Ames" wrote: "I had a crappy day yesterday so I bought a couple of books and read

I am reading
I heard the audio of GoT is not that great, but I could be wrong. The book itself is amazing though.
@Christine: I haven't read her adult series yet but it's on the list.@Regina: I read A Room With A View in high school. We also watched the movie. I still remember the gasps at the male nudity.

I recommend Cooke's adult series. The characters in it are the parents of the characters in the YA series. Plus you get some background information that has to do with Zoe and Nicholas.
I admire everyone who can do audio books. I've tried and for some reason they just don't work for me. I guess I just need the feel of a book or ereader in my hands.I just finished
it was good. Now I'm working on
only thirty pages in but really liking the writing so far.I've got
still waiting in the wings trying to get them read to finish off some challenges but running out of time so we'll see how it goes.
I just finished
last night and loved it. So while I'm eagerly awaiting for the next book to come from the library, I am reading
which I'm excited about because I love Risa and this world.

The first few books just keep getting better, so you have something good to look forward to!
That's good to hear Leah Thanks! I actually tried the series a couple of years ago and couldn't get into it, but this time I ate it up. I've done that recently with a couple of other series too. Maybe I just wasn't feeling the UF in early 2010 like I am now, but I definitely am not at a loss for things to read now.
Kerstin I love that series soooo much!Ames, I re-read Room with a View, I had read it in HS, but it meant so much more to me now. My book club met last night to discuss it and we watched the move - -we laughed so darned hard during that scene.
Finished 3 books over the weekend so now I'm on to
while I try to figure out my reading challenge lists.
I finished
at the weekend. The beginning was slow and boring but it turned into an awesome read once we met Darla.
Good to know, Ames! Really want to read that soon :)I've been on some random books recently, stuff that I usually don't read. Finished
and onto
- I must be feeling romantic lol
I loved
and can't wait to see where she takes the series next, now that we have a little hint about the origins of the Breedmates. I also finished
which I enjoyed as much, if not more than, the first in the series.
It's a new month and a new set of challenges. I'm starting with these books.
It's a bit much to start but I can't figure out what I want so I'm giving my self a few options.
Christine wrote: "I loved

, this one was great. I read somewhere that this one was suppose to be the end of the series, but she got a contract for an additional three.
Lis wrote: "How are you liking the Dark Angel series so far Valerie?"It is not as good as the Riley Jensen series. Risa is not as wolfie as her Aunt Riley. Risa has little battle training so it's not fair to expect a kick-ass heroine like Riley (even if I did). The intrigue and conspiracy is less thick, the action mostly takes place in Melbourne so there is less a range of locale.
It is not fair to compare the two...but I like the characters and want to know where the series will go. I would borrow it if I were you.
Starting
, although I kinda don't want to. I love this series, but I'm so torn up about what happened in the last book that reading this is already hard and I'm only on chapter 3.Also starting
and

I finished
. I thought it was great. Can't wait for
.Just started
. *sighs* I should've re-read
first. I think I completely forgot part of the book. I don't have a clue what they're talking about. Whoops.
I am totally sticking with
despite my hesitation. Thanks Becky and Alyssa! I'll let you ladies know when I'm done.
I am on #5 of the Georgina Kincaid series, I am just loving it
-- I have been listening to them back to back. Just loving it.I am reading
which is not a series or paranormal at all but I am loving it. :)@Alyssa Briggs is a favorite of mine. Maybe skim Iron Kissed? Here is the short version of what happened (view spoiler) Hope that helps!["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
Lis wrote: "I did too. After being a little disappointed in the previous one
."I agree. There was just something missing from Hunter's story. I'm so glad Chase's book turned out well. And yeah to three more books!
Thanks, Regina! :-DI guess I didn't really remember that it was all related. (view spoiler)
I would flip through it again, but I got it from the library last time, I don't actually own it.

It is Myst & Nicolai Wroth's story, and quite good..."
I don't usually read anthologies either, but I might try it
