and whilst biography isn't my thing, it was very insightful. Had no idea Patrick Swayze started out as gymnast/ballet dancer/singer/musician.

I started it last night because of what you said and I'm nearly finished. It is such a strange book! But I do really like it :D

. I realize Bradbury's writing in this one is not for everyone, but I love it so much. And listening to it narrated by Stefan Rudnicki is amazing.

"God, how we get our fingers in each others clay. That's friendship, each playing the potter to see what shape we can make of the other."
"But no man's a hero to himself. I've lived with me a lifetime, Will. I know everything worth knowing about myself."

Regina wrote: "It is so different. I am glad you like it. :) I had such fun with it."I finished it - it was a weird, fun book! I'm intrigued with what she's going to do with the next two books and who the main characters will be, although they're not on GR yet.
Me too! She has a novella coming out in an anthology later this year. I really like how she writes stories completely outside the normal framework of fantasy.

I know, I don't know how she comes up with her ideas! She has also said she's doing another UF book, can't wait to see what that's going to be about!

last night and gave it 3.5 stars. Overall I enjoyed it, but it seemed like a slow start, lots of questions to be answered in later books, like ususal. Very PG as all the stars are only just 16. Ah, young love :D

but I don't know if I can continue. Bones' "voice" is... terrible. She's fine/quite good at Cat and the general narration but Bones sounds like he's The Wicked Witch. In my head, he's shrunk about a foot. Waaahhhhhh!

I've stalled on that series and decided to try it in audio to see if I could continue that way but after listening to the voice for Bones, I couldn't continue either. I need my men to sound manly in audio...and if a man is sexy, he's supposed to sound sexy too! Even in real life, if a handsome guy has a squeaky voice, it would shatter the illusion right there and then.
