I really enjoyed Ice Cold Barbara. Are you liking it?

I had exactly the same reaction. I grabbed it soon after it was released and just couldn't stick with it. I think part of me didn't want it to end because its a really good story with such "real" characters, warts and all... Then I was browsing my DNFs and once I got to the beaters trying to swim the river I could not put it down. I couldn't believe I put it off for so long, what a great wrap up and emotional ending. I went back and re-read the beginning. I think I just didn't care about all the new island characters. Just kinda choppy in the beginning.

Did you like Ice Cold Barbara? It has been my favorite in that series.

I remember thinking that with almost every book in that series!

Good to know!

Yet another series I picked up at Border's liquidation and have yet to read! I really need to get to work on developing that clone of myself that can go to work and do laundry so that I have more time to read. And with the money I make selling them to other readers, I'll be able to buy even more books!

Another one I've neglected too. I'm with you Christine, I picked several up at the great Borders hoarding... Bumping it up!

I loved the Maze Runner Valerie.

Jane YR is a good series for audio, full of action and Beast keeps adding to possibilities of "good mates"... This latest was one of my favorites.

Cool! I love the idea that I have a longish series to get into. LOL Lis, that is a lot of books. The Dublin book interests me.
