Very very dangerous! And you get that first book free then end up buying the next ones... Even if they are crazy WTH I'm I reading this for??? I just finished up with one of those this weekend. I'm a little embarrassed to admit I read freebie
then bought
. I have no words to explain why I just had to find out where this crazy storyline would go.

Haven't we all read one (or a couple) of those?

the final book in the Vampire Empire trilogy."How is the Vampire Empire trilogy? I have the first one, but have yet to read it.
It's pure UF steampunkish reading and I was sucked in right away, but I like darker series. There is a romance woven thru storyline, but it's not PNR.

Started reading
also known as
and it is very different to the rest of uf world. I definitely like it.
Josie the first three were soooo bad, in addition to the need for an editor all the words cut off the last 3-4 letters on the right side margin of the kindle page. So it was kind of fill in the blanks and I still kept reading. Hopefully it works better for you if you give it a try.
Just finished
which was pretty good.Got a couple left to read before the end of the month
and
I better hurry up :)
Oh Sandra, the Kara Gillian is a great little series, a bit quick to read. The writing is plain in the sense that there are no overlong descriptions and such but I like Kara as a summoner. Can't wait for the next book to come out in a few months.Alexis Morgan's Paladin series is better than her Talion one. I don't know what it is with Laurann Dohner's books, I can't stop reading them...it's like popcorn.
Yes, I'm doing a re-read of all the Kara's in prep for #5, one a month :DDDDI've started both Paladins & Talions and yes I agree about LD's books, I've got most of them, just need to slot them in. ROFL
I was browsing other people's reading challenge and saw someone reading Taunting Krell...a good story for a scarred hero, the beginning of the book was not very well done to introduce the heroine but it added spice to the plot. I wished there was more of them...how pathetic is that?

Is this your first read of Psy-Changelings? I love this series.

Yep, and my copy of Dark Warrior Unbroken is pb :DDD
Last month I did a challenge where I had lusciousness on the covers, and I had a few left-overs. ROFL

Yup, I'm playing the catch up game as I've just recently gotten into UF and PNR last year! Starting to read everyone's favourites :)

Just wait until you get to book 3. Judd is my favorite!
Jeann wrote: "Yup, I'm playing the catch up game as I've just recently gotten into UF and PNR last year! Starting to read everyone's favourites :) "Only since last year?! You definitely are catching up. Good job!
Actually, I lie, I think it was when the 6th VA book came out which was late 2010 :) glad I've finally found a genre I love.
Jeann wrote: "Actually, I lie, I think it was when the 6th VA book came out which was late 2010 :) glad I've finally found a genre I love."That's still not too long. I started about a year earlier than you. Like you, I'm glad I tried it out!
Yeah beforehand I think I was reading bestsellers and classics and whatever caught my eye at the bookstore. Now borders is closed :( I always loved supernatural themed tv shows like Buffy, Supernatural, etc. so it's not a surprise that I love the books too.
Think it was actually Vampire Academy that got me into the genre, because I read Richelle Mead's Georgina Kincaid series after loving VA and then it all began...lol
I really miss Borders. : ( Especially those 40% off coupons they frequently sent out. I used to read only fantasy, so urban fantasy wasn't a big stretch for me. I wasn't interested in it at all though, but one of my favorite authors (Patricia Briggs) started writing urban fantasy. I finally read
because I got tired of waiting for her to write another fantasy book. The rest is history...Vampire Academy is at the top of my TBR list. I really need to get to that series. So many good series out there and not enough reading time.
I just finished
myself Barbara. I enjoyed it tremendously. What did you think of it? I have been reading a lot of Baldacci lately and I am really liking him more than I expected to.
Paris wrote: "Christine wrote: "Gin wrote: "I finished up

I completely agree, sirantha is her best yet.
Sandra glad you are enjoying the Rivers of London series!!
I am reading
Well, Moon Over Soho was worth reading, but there were a couple of things that bugged me about it. Still I gave it ★★★★
Oh the humour was classic, very subtle, and I love the throwaway lines of some of my fav TV shows, Time Team & Dr Who :DDDDDD
LOL, those went all over my head since I don't watch any TV. My husband and 13 year old could probably get them though. :D
