I'm starting
. I've read 20 pages so far and it promises to be quite entertaining.

That's why I decided to switch to what I thought it was erotica
but it's really more of a contemporary romance. I like the hero a lot - he's really level headed - but the heroine is a wreck. At least I'm almost done with it.

I know! Between the E title and the author's L and I initials, I worked this one into a lot of challenges. Plus the nice grey/black cover with a single character filled a few as well.
Christine wrote: "I'm starting

@D.G: Have you read the second? I didn't read the first but
was pretty darn good. I mean the guy, wow! He was quite something with his sleeve tats and his apadravya ;)

I'll be curious to see what you think."I'm guessing the stuff in question was the David/Deven stuff? I think it fit with them perfectly and I wasn't surprised in the least. It'll add an interesting dynamic to the group that's for sure.
I finished the book last night and I loved it just as much as Queen of Shadows. My only problem with her books so far is that there are points during the book where I'm a little annoyed that we aren't farther into the story. They sometimes feel just a tad overlong. But I'm starting
tonight, so we'll see if the same thing goes for book 3.

Glad you liked it, Sarajayne. Susan is a great person and has written an amazing story. Many of us are anxiously awaiting book 2! :D

Josie wrote: "Well at the very least, it's worth it for the penis piercing ;) "Getting it from the library right now! (LOL!)
Last night I started
in audio (I've heard great things for the narration) and it's smoking HOT! The narrator is a guy and he does the accents so well! I almost had an orgasm when I heard a Scottish character (the men are sooo freaking sexy!)The story is going OK (not great...those heroines are annoying) and I've rolled eyes several times but I'm most enjoying the narration.
Finished
and
. In the 50 theme, read
and
. Knocked off another freebie
and listened to
.Starting
but also just downloaded
and that cover is looking pretty shiny. Might be a good break between the Warden books which get emotionally heavy.
I finished
and ended up loving it! 5 Stars :)I'm currently reading
and I'm also listening to my first audio book ever:
Unfortunately I'm not able to listen at work, so I'm listening to it at home. It's alright so far, but I'm not overly fond of the narrator and at times my mind just starts to wonder and I realize I have no idea what happened in the last couple of chapters and have to go back.
LOL! I've had that happen to me as well. Sometimes I find that I actually prefer the narrator's voice when I play it at a faster speed. It's not Alvin Chipmunk fast or anything, but some narrators speak so dreadfully slow that I could read 10 chapters by the time they read me 1.
I find it makes a big difference for me w/some of them. Now, I have a hard time listening to many at regular speed.

Sandra wrote: "About to start
for Bingo!!!! Yay!!!!"Oooh!! Hop it's good!! I'll probably end up reading it some time for Bingo too.
The first 2 were excellent Alyssa, so I have high hopes for this one and I've already preordered #4. LOL.
I loved the first 2 also. Can't wait to read Dark Frost. I'm definitely going to pre-order #4 some time soon.
Sandra wrote: "About to start

Finished
- hated both! Interestingly enough both books focus on carnivals. Now reading something I know I'm going to love.
Gin wrote: "Gin, I listen to audiobooks on my laptop using VLC and/or on my iPod when I'm mobile."Hi, Gin! Yep, thank goodness or I'd go nuts with some of the slow speaking narrators. I listen to my audiobooks on my laptop using VLC and/or on my iPod using iTunes when I'm mobile.
I really need to start Estep's YA series. I'd forgotten how much you enjoyed it, Sandra. I've moved it up on the endless TBR list. ;)
How many reads do you get though a week? I can only ever read 2 books because I only get some 'me' time when the kids are in bed and I read for a couple of hours a night. I'm currently reading
for my YA Bingo shelf and then
for my Free read.

I am always reading at least 2 books at a time, one on my Kindle and one physical book.
Currently reading [bookcover:Dark Frost|11022222] and
for Bingo. (apparently it's gonna be one of those days where Goodreads doesn't like posting one of my book covers. grrr)
Oh, Jenne, you should check it out since it's the final book in the series. I enjoyed it. I thought Wells did a good job of wrapping things up. I have to say (spoiler for those who haven't read any of the books yet; won't spoil you, Jenne) (view spoiler) I LOVED Giguhl, funniest, horniest demon out there in UF-land.

Yeah, I hear ya, Jenne. Finished
today and I'm stuck on what to pick up next. And, really not feeling like listening to
at the moment either, so that's paused. Eh, I'm sure I'll find something else to start this evening. Can't go long w/out reading or I get grumpy. LOL!
Yay! Hope you'll soon be joining the NH fan club, Sara. ;) Bones is hot! I'll be interested to hear how you like Abe. I have it, but honestly, I have no real draw to read it now that the movie's coming out. That's bad, yah?
I'm reading
for the YA-PNR shelf in the Bingo game and also listening to
, which I'm enjoying a lot.
