Dawn (dawnv) | 4058 comments Hey everyone

Since the Lords Series is her biggest series I thought I would combine the discussion for all her other books here. Let me know if you think I should separate them.

Thanks and chat away!

Sandra | 4734 comments I enjoyed the Atlantis series but I do know that others have had a hit & miss with them.

Heart of the Dragon (Atlantis, #1) by Gena Showalter Jewel of Atlantis (Atlantis, #2) by Gena Showalter The Nymph King (Atlantis, #3) by Gena Showalter The Vampire's Bride (Atlantis, #4) by Gena Showalter

Nichole ~Bookaholic~ (nicholebookaholic) | 672 comments I am doing a re-read of The Stone Prince by Gena Showalter and The Pleasure Slave by Gena Showalter and then will be giving this series a try Awaken Me Darkly (Alien Huntress, #1) by Gena Showalter

message 4: by Dawn, Desperately seeking new worlds (new)

Dawn (dawnv) | 4058 comments I have never read The Stone Prince, I think I will try to read that this month.

I also ordered Enslave Me Sweetlyhopefully the library will have it by the end of the month.

Me too!
I think you can buy the bundle all five books for like $9.00

message 6: by Midu (new)

Midu Hadi | 589 comments Maybe I'll try Heart of the Dragon (Atlantis, #1) by Gena Showalter

message 7: by Jill (new)

Jill So I take it the Atlantis series is not as good as the lords series? I have read the first Atlantis one. Are they linked in anyway? Or completely separate? How is the lords series? So many questions but I have all of them and I have to decide what to read first? What's more enjoyable?

message 8: by Midu (new)

Midu Hadi | 589 comments Haven't read the Atlantis series, so can't compare but the Lords series isn't that bad. I liked the 2nd and 8th books a lot. Plus the humor's really good.

message 9: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Sandra | 4734 comments Jill, I enjoyed Atlantis, but of the 2 I'd read Lords first.

All the Atlantis books are linked just as all the Lords books are linked, but they aren't linked between Atlantis and Lords. Hope I answered it for you :)

message 10: by Jill (new)

Jill Yes thank you. I will start the lords series right after I finish my Katie macalister book.

The Stone Prince was a fun read...

Nichole ~Bookaholic~ (nicholebookaholic) | 672 comments I finished Awaken Me Darkly (Alien Huntress, #1) by Gena Showalter last night and really liked it....will try the next one in the series soon

message 14: by Jess (new)

Jess | 3721 comments I like her alien series, I think it's unique. Not many books out there sound the same.

What about her YA Books: Playing with Fire (Tales of an Extraordinary Girl, #1) by Gena Showalter Twice as Hot (Tales of an Extraordinary Girl #2) by Gena Showalter

I actually really like them. Anyone else try them yet?

message 15: by Anne (new)

Anne Mikusinsi (abghostwriter) | 1 comments I truly doubt these are YA books have read them both and loved them, but the sex scenes are WAY too hot for anything I'd want my teen or (gasp) tween to be reading!

message 16: by Jill (new)

Jill Certainly wouldn't want a tween reading them either, but I have to admit to reading my mums Johanna Lindsey books when I was , oh I would say fifteen. I definitely had started reading Diana gabaldons series by then and that doesn't just have raunchy sex scenes in it. I have a daughter now and i just don't know what i will tell her when she starts to become intrigued in the more adult books. At least my mum new what I was reading and could talk about the books with me, I guess she could sort of put them all into perspective for me.

Still good though!

Now that I think about it Playing with Fire has a few smexy scenes and as a YA book that would be well awkward LOL

message 21: by Jess (new)

Jess | 3721 comments Although YA books are getting a bit more risque, these would be pushing it lol.

message 22: by Sonia (new)

Sonia (darktalynn) Coudln't get my hands on Playing with Fire (Tales of an Extraordinary Girl, #1) by Gena Showalter - add it to my TBR list, so I decided to try Heart of the Dragon (Atlantis, #1) by Gena Showalter

message 23: by Dawn, Desperately seeking new worlds (new)
