I just started Silk by Alessandro Baricco representing Italy.

Barry, the thread "Where In the World Are You "is being used for people starting books. I think it's a great title for that. I'm reading Dr. Zhivago so I'm in Russia.
I'd like to use the thread "Where In The World Are You?" to list what country that we're currently visiting and then perhaps move the reviews (links) to a new thread titled "Where In The World Have You Been?". Comments can be posted on actual reviews also.Could that be an option because I fear that it will turn into one big confusing thread very soon...
Tell me if that doesn't make sense. I'm currently in New Zealand and my accent might be a bit heavy...
How about, "Which Book Did You Just Start?" and "Which Book Did You Just Finish?" That is more clear cut and concise and people can elect to do reviews or shorter overall impressions or even just whether or not they liked it?
It is concise, Chel, but I think that it keeps things fun to relate the reading to travelling and also, the original thread, "where In The World Are You", is what the majority of people are already using...not so much change, you know?
I also like the double entendre of Where in the world are you? and Where in the world have you been?
For Indonesia, I just started "Some Girls" by Jillian Lauren.
I just left Australia: "Mascara" -- a very strange book. Now I am with Manguel in his "Library at Night."
Obviously, I wrote the above in my sleep. I left Chile (Mascara), went to Argentina (the Library at Night), stayed up all night in Lesotho (Singing Away the Hunger) and travel today to Afghanistan (The Kite Runner).
I started in Medieval Spain, with Cathedral of the Sea. With over 700 pages, I will remain there a while.
We have a couple of threads for this topic. I'm going to close this one.
