Man, I can't WAIT to get to New York to Dallas, Heather. I can't get my next audiobook to sync up to my iPhone for some reason, so I may just have to break down and read it so I can keep moving toward this one!

I can't imagine reading the books the regular way. lol Just love these audios so much.
The book was really good though, so any way you can get to that one, do it. =)
I just finished
(the ebook reprint). o.O I'm trying to decide whether I want to post the review today or ever and if I have the will to live and read another romance novel. Ever.
LOL rameau, was that book really that bad???! I don't think I've ever come across a life-suckingly bad romance before.

CaroB wrote: "LOL rameau, was that book really that bad???! I don't think I've ever come across a life-suckingly bad romance before."It took me three days to read it. Three. And I was falling asleep or developing a migraine all the while. Yes. It's bad.

Thanks. There are plenty of people who liked it, but I've become quite attached to all things plotty and this one didn't deliver. If you're a fan of a certain kind flowery writing, The Price of Innocence might be for you (assuming you can stomach the trivialisation of rape and slavery).
Reading three books concurrently, never a good idea, but I'm trying to pace myself on buddy reads, lol.
,
and
. Luckily they're all so different that I'm keeping the story-lines straight!! (hope I haven't just jinxed myself!)
Don't you hate it when that happens? LOLIn case I haven't said it, I'm reading
with Lisa Kay and CaroB. I absolutely adore this series!

I am almost done with Lair of the Lion and loving it!

but so far I'm not finding it particularly engaging."Eep! I have yet to start that one, Jenny. The premise sure sounded good.
Jyl22075 wrote: "I'm attempting to read

Jyl22075 wrote: "I just picked that book up used a week ago, Susan. Glad to hear you are enjoying it!"I have a feeling Iain will be added to my list of fictional boyfriends ;)
I have heard this from others, Abby, and I'm avoiding it at all costs. As far as I'm concerned, their story ended with the phenomenal book one.
Jyl22075 wrote: "It might just be me, I've had a lot of real life stuff going on so I'm finding it hard to get involved...."I think there's a few of us feeling a bit like that, Jenny!
~Megan~ wrote: "I have heard this from others, Abby, and I'm avoiding it at all costs. I'll be reading the next one definitely though

After the day I had yesterday, and the one today, I put
on hold. It seems very dark and deep. Definitely NOT want I want right now. So, I started
and am liking it quite a bit!
CaroB, I just finished it! It was wonderful! The secondary characters were just as engaging as the primary couple. I'm looking forward go reading more by that author.
Reading
and am a little disturbed that I just read about Jack and woman named Charmaine; especially as I figure Jack is supposed to end up with Mel. I just don't like to read about the hero being with someone other than the heroine in their book.
I read
last night and pretty much loved it. Although, like with all Courtney Milan novellas, I wish it was longer.
CaroB wrote: "I've heard a lot about the Virgin River series, would like to hear what you think Susan!"CaroB, I really liked it! It was unsteamy enough that I'd let my almost 13 year old read it ;) Sometimes, reading stuff that is lacking on the steam factor is refreshing and this fit the bill and it still was romantic and good. Wholesome is a word that comes to mind...even though Jack managed to get so worked up once that he didn't even take his boots off LOL
It gets better as the series goes on....you begin to love everyone in the town. It's a real ensemble series, I feel.
rameau wrote: "I read

Susan and Megan, good to know about the Virgin River series, I'll move it up my to-get list. Although must admit, wholesome is not the mood I've been in recently :-)
Maybe wholesome is the wrong word since the heroine is getting pregnant without being married and the 14 YO girl is hoochie looking and doing it with the 16 YO boy LOL
