I flew through
and really enjoyed it. Don't know how I'll be able to hold off until April to read the next one. lol
That will take some willpower, Heather....I flew through that series in like a week. It's one of my most faves. In fact, I just re-read Kiss of Snow (Hawke's book!!) today!
Book 3 is Judd's book, and is probably one of the best in the series....you have a lot of goodness to look forward to!
I flew through the series the first time around Heather! Two months is too long to wait between changelings :-)
LOL, I might have to forget these books exist until April, so not to tempt myself. Don't see that working well though.
Was just getting started on
which I was very much enjoying, but did set it aside to read
so that I would be all caught up to start the buddy read on
at the end of this month. But once finished I will definitely be getting back to the Hathaway sisters! :)
I just recently finished
and
, I gave both of them 4 stars. Now I'm starting
. Making my way through some of my challenges.
Just finished
. This one was a little heart stressing, but still good. As I have it on audiobook and its the only way I'm reading anything right now,
is up next.

I look forward to hearing what you think about it. I finished it late last night and really enjoyed it. I had a few tiny issues, but overall thought it was really good. It's the first book I've read by Eloisa James, but I will definitely check out more by her."I've only read one of her's before and I didn't like one secondary couple's romance... only to find out much, much later that they get their HEA in another book later in the series. I'm looking forward to trying this Ms. James again. Alas, not this month. Moved it to March.
I really want to try JAL too. I have one of her books I haven't read. Must find it.
Some writers just click with you. I am a firm believer in knowing your moods. LOL! I always hesitate because I don't want to build a book up too much - only to have the person be disappointed. Sometimes I just can't help gushing, though.
I just finished
and am starting Blood, Bones, and Butter: The Inadvertent Education of a Reluctant Chef
I'm reading
. It's slow going for me right now. My oldest daughter has been in and out of the hospital having contractions for the last week (the baby is due April 11) so I've been keeping the grandbaby while she's there. She went to the dr today and they scheduled her to be induced next Wed.
Oh no, that's got to suck for her, with constant contractions, but at least she has an end date with the induction. So will this be your second grandbaby then Susan?
Yes, CaroB, this will be my second one. And it's a boy! A first in my family...I'm an only child and I had 5 daughters and the grandbaby we've already got is a girl! He's going to be soooo spoiled lol
Picking up
.I've read that there is a lot of world building in the beginning, should I read or listen?
Read my review, Heather. There aren't any spoilers. Then you should be fine listening. Plus, you are a little more clued into UF than I am, so you should be fine.
Thanks Llisa Kay, that very much helps. Will try to start the audio this afternoon. When finished, I plan on reading
Please don't give up on the series, Heather...there is a TON of world-building in the first one and I was like meh, but OMG every book gets better and better!! I seriously read them in a week's time period and then went through some serious Curran withdrawals.Plus, I think Kate is an amazing UF heroine....just the right mix of tough and tender.
Spent my morning at the hospital waiting for my grandson to be born! I read
while there. Haven't finished the book, it's VERY different from the previous books.I didn't finish the book, but I do have a grandson...Elliot Nathaniel weighed 8 lbs 10.7 oz and was born around 4 this afternoon!
WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Congratulations to your whole family!! Beautiful name :-) I never thought I'd say this, but I'm getting clucky from all the way on this side of the world.
HAHAHA! Thank you so much! We are very happy! I've already given him some smooches and bought a new outfit for him LOL
Just finished
. Don't think I've been more confused and frustrated with a book in a while. Not sure if I'm going to pick up
or
next.
Thanks, Lisa Kay and Jyl! Hubs came home last night to see our daughter and the baby. I'm ready to go now, but it's like 6 in the morning lol
Heather wrote: "Just finished

My JD Robb book I'm reading right now is seriously creeping me out. I dreamed of Satanic rituals and blood. I think I'll stick to reading it during it during daylight hours.
