Heather (messybar) | 1307 comments I flew through Visions of Heat (Psy-Changeling, #2) by Nalini Singh and really enjoyed it. Don't know how I'll be able to hold off until April to read the next one. lol

message 203: by ~Megan~ (new)

~Megan~ (megadee) That will take some willpower, Heather....I flew through that series in like a week. It's one of my most faves. In fact, I just re-read Kiss of Snow (Hawke's book!!) today!

message 204: by Heather (new)

Heather (messybar) | 1307 comments I'm really looking forward to Dorian's book!! (whenever that is lol)

message 205: by ~Megan~ (new)

~Megan~ (megadee) Book 3 is Judd's book, and is probably one of the best in the series....you have a lot of goodness to look forward to!

message 206: by Heather (new)

Heather (messybar) | 1307 comments That makes me even more excited Megan! What are you doing to me? lol

message 207: by Lina (new)

Lina | 5563 comments I flew through the series the first time around Heather! Two months is too long to wait between changelings :-)

message 211: by Heather (new)

Heather (messybar) | 1307 comments LOL, I might have to forget these books exist until April, so not to tempt myself. Don't see that working well though.

message 212: by Tracey (last edited Feb 15, 2012 08:27AM) (new)

Tracey Smith | 415 comments Was just getting started on Tempt Me at Twilight (The Hathaways, #3) by Lisa Kleypas which I was very much enjoying, but did set it aside to read First Grave on the Right (Charley Davidson, #1) by Darynda Jones so that I would be all caught up to start the buddy read on Third Grave Dead Ahead (Charley Davidson #3) by Darynda Jones at the end of this month. But once finished I will definitely be getting back to the Hathaway sisters! :)

message 213: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (cawils_99) I just recently finished Because You're Mine (Capital Theatre, #2) by Lisa Kleypas and An Invitation to Sin (Griffin Family, #2) by Suzanne Enoch , I gave both of them 4 stars. Now I'm starting Sinful Pleasures (The Templar Knights, Book 2) by Mary Reed McCall . Making my way through some of my challenges.

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments I'm reading Midnight Angel (Stokehurst, #1) by Lisa Kleypas which was a PIFM on the RRRC board. I'm liking it.

message 215: by Heather (new)

Heather (messybar) | 1307 comments Just finished Divided in Death (In Death, #18) by J.D. Robb . This one was a little heart stressing, but still good. As I have it on audiobook and its the only way I'm reading anything right now, Entwined by Heather Dixon is up next.

message 216: by Lisa Kay, Moderator (new)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 20787 comments I need to read (listen to) When Beauty Tamed the Beast (Fairy Tales, #2) by Eloisa James this month too!

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 20787 comments Jyl22075 wrote: "When Beauty Tamed the Beast (Fairy Tales, #2) by Eloisa James I look forward to hearing what you think about it. I finished it late last night and really enjoyed it. I had a few tiny issues, but overall thought it was really good. It's the first book I've read by Eloisa James, but I will definitely check out more by her."

I've only read one of her's before and I didn't like one secondary couple's romance... only to find out much, much later that they get their HEA in another book later in the series. I'm looking forward to trying this Ms. James again. Alas, not this month. Moved it to March.

I really want to try JAL too. I have one of her books I haven't read. Must find it.

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 20787 comments Some writers just click with you. I am a firm believer in knowing your moods. LOL! I always hesitate because I don't want to build a book up too much - only to have the person be disappointed. Sometimes I just can't help gushing, though.

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments I'm reading How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf (Naked Werewolf, #1) by Molly Harper and liking it so far :)

message 221: by rameau (new)

rameau | 90 comments Glow by Jessica Maria Tuccelli I just started this one. It's an ARC and coming out tomorrow so I'm in a bit of a hurry to read it.

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments I'm reading Something About You (FBI, # 1) by Julie James . It's slow going for me right now. My oldest daughter has been in and out of the hospital having contractions for the last week (the baby is due April 11) so I've been keeping the grandbaby while she's there. She went to the dr today and they scheduled her to be induced next Wed.

message 223: by Lisa Kay, Moderator (new)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 20787 comments I hope she and the baby are fine, Susan!

message 224: by Susan (susayq ~), Moderator (new)

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments Thanks, Lisa Kay. I hope so too. She's absolutely miserable. I'll keep ya'll updated :)

message 225: by Lina (new)

Lina | 5563 comments Oh no, that's got to suck for her, with constant contractions, but at least she has an end date with the induction. So will this be your second grandbaby then Susan?

message 226: by Susan (susayq ~), Moderator (new)

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments Yes, CaroB, this will be my second one. And it's a boy! A first in my family...I'm an only child and I had 5 daughters and the grandbaby we've already got is a girl! He's going to be soooo spoiled lol

message 227: by Lina (new)

Lina | 5563 comments Lovely! little boys are wonderful in completely different ways, as I'm sure you know from teaching.

message 229: by Heather (new)

Heather (messybar) | 1307 comments Picking up Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews .

I've read that there is a lot of world building in the beginning, should I read or listen?

message 230: by Lisa Kay, Moderator (new)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 20787 comments Read my review, Heather. There aren't any spoilers. Then you should be fine listening. Plus, you are a little more clued into UF than I am, so you should be fine.

message 231: by Heather (new)

Heather (messybar) | 1307 comments Thanks Llisa Kay, that very much helps. Will try to start the audio this afternoon. When finished, I plan on reading Some Girls Bite (Chicagoland Vampires, #1) by Chloe Neill

message 232: by ~Megan~ (new)

~Megan~ (megadee) Please don't give up on the series, Heather...there is a TON of world-building in the first one and I was like meh, but OMG every book gets better and better!! I seriously read them in a week's time period and then went through some serious Curran withdrawals.

Plus, I think Kate is an amazing UF heroine....just the right mix of tough and tender.

message 233: by Susan (susayq ~), Moderator (new)

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments Thanks, Heather!

Yes, CaroB, boys are VERY different from girls lol

message 234: by Susan (susayq ~), Moderator (new)

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments Spent my morning at the hospital waiting for my grandson to be born! I read Ceremony in Death (In Death, #5) by J.D. Robb while there. Haven't finished the book, it's VERY different from the previous books.

I didn't finish the book, but I do have a grandson...Elliot Nathaniel weighed 8 lbs 10.7 oz and was born around 4 this afternoon!

Heather (messybar) | 1307 comments Just finished Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews . Don't think I've been more confused and frustrated with a book in a while.
Not sure if I'm going to pick up Some Girls Bite (Chicagoland Vampires, #1) by Chloe Neill or Memory in Death (In Death, #22) by J.D. Robb next.

message 241: by Susan (susayq ~), Moderator (new)

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments Thanks for the congrats about the baby, Heather. Don't know how I missed that LOL

I'd go with JD Robb, but I'm biased in that regard.

I remember that feeling. Just get me home, now please. Congratulations on the new little one! I didn't notice...a boy or girl?

lol, me too. =)

message 248: by Susan (susayq ~), Moderator (new)

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments My JD Robb book I'm reading right now is seriously creeping me out. I dreamed of Satanic rituals and blood. I think I'll stick to reading it during it during daylight hours.

message 249: by Lisa Kay, Moderator (new)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 20787 comments Yeah, some of them are dark. I hope your nightmares go away, Susan!

message 250: by Heather (new)

Heather (messybar) | 1307 comments I agree with Lisa Kay, Susan. A few have been hard to handle in that regard. It's it odd that I get some kind of twisted humor reading that stuff at work? lol
